Here is a DIY guide on how to tie a draped skirt.

Clothes You Love, Prices You Can Afford - Twice How to Make 3D Paper Snowflake Winter is coming (there's no doubt about that;)) so we thought you might need some new projects related to this season ;) That’s why I’m happy to bring you easy and pretty quick idea for a winter decoration. We decided to make our version of the project, and, as always, we added something new to it and improved it a bit ;) 3D paper snowflake can simply be a winter-time decor, but if you use red paper sheets, it will resemble Christmas flower. We used double-sided paper (white/silver) to make it more snowflake-like, and I think it was a good choice - these two colors make it look even more three-dimensional. You can mount your 3D Paper Snowflake on your door instead of Christmas wreath, hang it over a dining room table or in a window. Let us know how you liked this idea on our fan page :) We do our best to bring you high-quality tutorials, but it’s good to know if we’re on a right path!

Hooded Sweatshirt into a Zip Up - Tutorial I have this hoodie that I'm quite attached to. It's nothing special, but I feel so nice and cosy inside it. The problem is, I don't really wear it because it's a bit tight around my hips. This project only took about 1/2 hour and I'm really happy with the result. Make any top a Zip Up You'll need: A top An open ended zip Sewing supplies Measure your top from the bottom up to the neck to get the size of zipper you will need. Take your top and mark out a line up the middle and then cut. Place your zipper halves on each side of the top right way up. Turn each piece over. Machine baste each half of the zipper to your top about 3mm from the edge. When you're happy with it, overlock or zigzag along the edge, going over your basting. Fold the zip right way out and press. Top stitch about 5mm in from the seam to make the zip sit nice and flat. Now get into your cosy top and sit on the couch with a cup of tea!

I don’t know about you ladies, but I’m itching for the summer. It doesn’t help that department stores are already putting out their summer wear and swimsuits. Have you ever wanted to get that beautiful “natural” beach curl look to your hair? I want to share with you a technique that works for ALL types of hair, whether it be short, long, thick, thin, frizzy, or flat… and no curling iron involved! 1. As you can tell, I have a lot of wave to my hair, but this works for all hair types! 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Something to keep in mind is, obviously, the wetter your hair is to begin with, the longer it takes to dry. Give it a try! Do you have any tips on how this will work on your hair type? Head Scarf Tutorial After many requests, I finally made a tutorial on how to tie a simple head scarf. It's really, really easy. I did this without looking in the mirror, so that should tell you how easy it is. Let's get started! Start with a large, square scarf. Fold one corner to the other to form a triangle. Fold the corner down to about the middle, and then fold over again (but not all the way to the edge, because you want it to be a little thicker). Put the scarf around your head with the ends in the front, making sure the wrong side of the scarf (the part where you can see the folds) is against your head. Tie it in a loose knot at the front. Tuck the ends behind/underneath the scarf. Done!

Making lip balm by Kolbjorn Borseth Lips can be sensitive to the actions of the sun, wind, dry air, bacteria and salty foods. They often require little extra protection. Through the use of natural Fats and Waxes lips can be cared for without lip balms having to be applied over and over again. The need for continual application of lip balm can be the result of using lip Balms containing Vaseline® or paraffin oils/waxes from the petroleum industry. There are many different Fats, Waxes and Vegetable Oils which can be used to make a lip balm base and different active ingredients which can be added to create particular kinds of lip balm. A lip balm base needs to contain more wax than a base ointment so that it will remain hard even on a warm summer's day and so that it doesn't leave too much of a fatty feeling on the lips. Lip Balm Recipes for Jars For lip balm recipes that can be made in lip balm cylinders, rather than jars, see eBook eB6 Making Ointments & Lip Balms Organic Base Lip Balm Recipe #1 (for Jars).
