Bullying is a big issue in some schools, but fighting back is never the answer. If the big kid slipped or the bully landed on his head wrong he could've been paralyzed for life, and no, he doesn't deserve that. In some rare cases the bully may "respect" the person being bullied, but that's only if the bully had some semblance of honor or respect in the first place, which they usually don't. They'll just continue to pick on him, maybe harder then before or with more support. And the worst thing of this is, it *encourages* these kids to solve their problems with violence.
