I recently shot a fashion shoot , styled by Merci NY and was incredibly inspired by the experience and on an emotional high for several days after. Shortly following that, another one of my brides-to-be, asked my opinion about her wedding dress and sent me to the website of I designer I love- Yolan Cris . This all got me to actively think about bridal fashion. I have always been a bit obsessed with bridal fashion- after all, it is always before my eyes and lenses. So, I thought I would write about some of the beautiful creations that I dream about photographing. ). I was married over four years ago already! As you can see, some of the dresses that I picked to show are white, but not all of them. I especially like vintage looking dresses with all their beautiful details inc. the beading, unique fabrics, the natural flow of the fabric etc. Jenny Packham Packham’s regular design presence on the red carpets of Los Angeles infuses the Hollywood crowd with the glamour they adore. Make a Folded Felt Gift Box | Curbly
So a few months ago I spotted these DARLING felt, flatpack breadbaskets from Teroforma, and I thought, "Dude, you can totally make that." My idea, however, was not a breadbasket, but a little gift basket. So I grabbed paper and pencil and came up with plan. First, the supplies: one 8" x 11" piece of heavy felt from the craft store, NOT the flimsy kinda scissorscraft knife and cutting mat, optional but helpfuldoo-dads to decorate the boxa pencila PDF template, which you can find on my Scribd page Second, the how-to: Print and then cut out the template to create a pattern. Trace the pattern onto the felt. Using the scissors, cut the image from the felt; if you have one, use the craft knife to cut the little, rectangular slots (it's easier than using the scissors).
