MOOC Le MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) ou CLOM (Cours en Ligne, Ouvert et Massif) propose une nouvelle modalité d’apprentissage. Si l’idée de mettre en ligne un cours est une pratique comprise, utilisée par de nombreux enseignants, soit parce qu’ils interviennent en ligne, soit parce qu’ils complètent un cours en présentiel par des ressources en ligne. La nouveauté des MOOC, est d’ouvrir non pas l’accès aux ressources, mais bien l’accès au groupe des personnes qui se réunissent à une séquence de cours, et donner ainsi l’accès aux échanges dans et autour du cours. Si l’idée d’ouvrir l’accès à son cours est facile à comprendre, les implications de cette ouverture intriguent plus d’un praticien. Le terme massif est clairement un faux ami, et peut être une source d’incompréhension. Pour certains M pour Massif rime avec foule.
