The idea of a quick and easy method to clean it without any effort was too good to pass up – I have a lot of silver jewellery (because I only wear silver or white gold jewellery) and some is horribly tarnished. I googled to try to find more details and the consensus seems to be that foil, baking soda, a little salt, and boiling water are the magic formula. Let’s see it in action! Before (I chose the blackest, most tarnished pieces for this photo. Aluminium foil in the bottom of a glass bowl, with baking soda and a little salt Boiling water added – bubbles! I added the jewellery – the trick is to make sure that each piece is in direct contact with the foil. Look how dirty the water becomes (I’d taken out most of the jewellery by this point) Most of my jewellery came out clean and shiny. The remaining black tarnish rubbed off easily on a paper towel Clean and shiny!

FINALLY! You will be able to learn how to cut glass. I want to warn you. It’s best to triple your yarn because it will burn longer! Soak it GOOD! I like to tie my yarn where I want my glass to “cut” then quickly pour polish remover over the string again. Get a big bowl with ice and water ready. VERY IMPORTANT! Slowly turn your bottle. Pets - Sea Monkeys! Oct 31,19962:00 PM Three weeks ago, my pet fish at work (Fishbert) died (tragic tank-cleaning accident). I had a small ceremony and flushed him, but I’ve been without pets ever since. Today, I made the decision to get some sea-monkeys. I immediately proceeded to Toys’R’Us. 2:07 PM Nooooo!!!!!! Toys’R’Us is out of Sea Monkeys! Well, it’s time for me to go home, but I’m waiting for a call from one of my co-workers on a problem. I traveled to the next-nearest pet store to get a different tank for my second family of Sea Monkeys. By now, the building was getting quiet. Hmmm. . maybe those rocks weren’t such a great idea. odd. Izzy and Leo are still going at it. Two more monkeys have escaped the catacombs. Since I now know that Sea-Monkeys like light, I am placing them on top of a black piece of paper, and am hoping some more of the ‘Bob’ will come to the surface. Yngvie’s back to surveying the tree.
