Second-hand Sculptures Sculptures made of second-hand clothing, by artist Derick Melander. Great work and brilliant idea! Via BOOOOOOOM! Snowpiercer Snowpiercer (Korean: 설국열차; hanja: 雪國列車; RR: Seolgungnyeolcha) is a 2013 Korean science fiction arthouse action film based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette.[1] The film is directed by Bong Joon-ho,[4][5] and written by Bong and Kelly Masterson. The film marks Bong's English-language debut; approximately 80% of the film was shot in English.[6][7] Plot[edit] In 2014, an experiment to counteract global warming causes an ice age that kills nearly all life on Earth. The only survivors are the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a massive train, powered by a perpetual-motion engine, that travels on a globe-spanning track. In 2031, the tail inhabitants prepare for the latest in a series of rebellions. One of the cars is filled with armed men. Curtis, his few remaining followers, and Namgoong and Yona continue through the train, discovering the extravagance in which the elites have been living while the poor wallowed in squalor.

Heike Weber Installations Utterly amazing installations by Heike Weber. She draws with permanentmarkers on acrylic floor and walls – surfaces that have reached up to 600 m2. I can’t begin to imagine how time consuming these breathtaking installations must have been. Via Fubiz Children’s Drawing Painted Realistically What would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically? The Monster Engine takes children’s drawings and paints them realistically. This project is probably one of my favorite projects. Check out some other drawings after the break. (Source: BuzzFeed)

Installation Art by Baptiste Debombourg Three absolutely crackling fantastic installations by Baptiste Debombourg. Baptiste Debombourg is an artist living and working cialis professional no prescription in Paris, France. Via BOOOOOOOM! The Book Surgeon (15 pieces) Using knives, tweezers and surgical tools, Brian Dettmer carves one page at a time. Nothing inside the out-of-date encyclopedias, medical journals, illustration books, or dictionaries is relocated or implanted, only removed. Dettmer manipulates the pages and spines to form the shape of his sculptures. He also folds, bends, rolls, and stacks multiple books to create completely original sculptural forms. "My work is a collaboration with the existing material and its past creators and the completed pieces expose new relationships of the book’s internal elements exactly where they have been since their original conception," he says. "The richness and depth of the book is universally respected yet often undiscovered as the monopoly of the form and relevance of the information fades over time. Dettmer is originally from Chicago, where he studied at Columbia College. Update: Read our exclusive interview with the Book Surgeon here. Brian Dettmer's website
