Maiden Twists Hairstyle D.I.Y.

Maiden Twists Hairstyle D.I.Y.
Hi there! We're super excited to share Katie's adorable hairstyle idea today. We all love maiden braids (also called heidi braids or dutch braids) and Katie came up with a really cute spin on this style. 1. Have fun trying this pretty style.

Fancy Grilled Cheese 9 Ways The cold weather months really put me in the mood for grilled cheese sandwiches and soups. And although Elsie and I are huge fans of a classic and simple grilled cheese sandwich, we thought it would be fun to come up with some variations for a family lunch we hosted over the weekend. Elsie also brought her panini maker over to my house, it was my first time using one and I've got to say- I'm now a huge fan! We made 9 different grilled cheese variations for our family to choose from, some savory some sweet. My favorite was the tuna with spicy mustard, while our mom favored the apple and provolone. Our flavor variations included: jalapeno peppers and colby jack cheese, bosc pear slices with ricotta and honey, cream cheese (or brie) with raspberry jam, and sour apple with provolone. Have fun making up your own signature flavor!

D.I.Y. Curls: How To Rag Roll Your Hair I love the look of naturally curly hair! My sweet friend, Katie, told me about rag rolling. It's a quick and simple way to get natural looking curls without using a curling iron! I asked her to share her method here on A Beautiful Mess because I knew you'd be itching to learn like I was! You'll need some cut fabric strips, a comb and some water. How to rag roll your hair- First, dampen the bottom of your hair (the part you plan to roll) using a spray bottle. Have fun styling!

How To Style A Twisted Side Ponytail Here's how to style a twisted ponytail... 1. Begin by pinning a small section of hair at the back of the neck. 2-4. Continue pulling small sections of hair across and pinning along the base of the neck. 5. Continue until you can gather the hair into a side ponytail, leaving out a section in the front. 6. Thank you, Katie! Easter Candy Bars! Want to make a super sweet recipe for Easter weekend? Emma made these incredible dark chocolate marbled candy bars for the holiday. Here's the recipe..... Needed: 1 package dark chocolate chips, 1/2 package white chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, food dye (we used yellow), candy for the toppings (we used mini Cadbury eggs, reese's pieces and bits of strawberry marshmallows). Melt the dark chocolate plus 1 tablespoon oil in a microwave safe bowl or on the stove top. Now melt the white chocolate, add food coloring and stir to combine. Then you can break it up into bark pieces and enjoy or giveaway to friends!

How to Style a Classic French Braid I adore a pretty french braid! It's such a classic hairstyle that can work on many different hair lengths, including locks with layers. If you've never french braided before, or just need a refresher you're in luck. Sarah demonstrates a french braid on our pretty model Anna. 1.Seperate the top 1/3 of your hair into three sections. 2. You can use this technique to create a classic french braid (like the one shown) or you can create french braids on the side of your hair, going upside down or you can divide your hair into two main sections before you begin creating french braided pigtails!
