Garmin Edge 510 GPS Cycle Computer Review The new Garmin Edge 510 isn't so much a step up from the likable Edge 500 as it is a 'lite' version of the Edge 800 and new Edge 810. While lacking that flagship's mapping and navigational functions, the new mid-sized Edge 510 adds a full-color touchscreen, a major satellite system upgrade, a complete redesign of the interface, and a slick smartphone connectivity package that can not only upload your rides when you're done but even download critical alerts while you're on the go. Watch the video below for our review of the Garmin 510: Features and design Garmin Edge 500, 510 and 800 size comparison There's no mistaking the Edge 510's bigger form factor and slightly increased heft over the Edge 500, weighing in at 80g and measuring 85x52x24mm versus the 500's trimmer 58g, 69x48x22mm body. While bigger and heavier, the Edge 510 also includes a full-color LCD screen that measures 57mm diagonally to the 500's 45mm monochrome unit. SCNCA - Home The Official Website - USA Cycling Vredestein Fortezza TriComp Slick Folding Tyre | Road Race Tyres "I purchased these to replace my Continental Grand Prix Attack/Force Road Tyres. Don't get me wrong, those are superb tyres and I rate them very very highly but I like to experiment (with tyres) when the time comes. After a bit of research (big thanks to Wiggle reviewers too) I dropped onto the Vredestein Fortezza TriComp Slicks. Apart from anything else, I loved the fact that I could get these in a black/white combination to match my BMC Pro Machine, they look great. The performance of the tyre is superb, I'm confident on these in pretty much all conditions, which is more than can be said for the slicks I use for racing my motorbike, they really are condition specific!
Speed Weaponry | About Zipp | News Archive Back 10.18.2012 New 11-speed compatibility service Zipp® Speed Weaponry is pleased to announce details of a new service for customers to convert 2012 model-year Zipp wheels to become compatible with 11-speed cassettes. What wheels are eligible for the 11-speed conversion? Zipp’s 2012 wheels with the blue freehub body (designed for use with Campagnolo® cassettes) also may be converted to be Shimano® 11-speed compatible, although this involves a re-dish of the wheel as well as installation of a new axle, end cap, freehub body and spacer. Important notes: 2012 model-year Campagnolo®-compatible wheels – those with the blue freehub body -- already are compatible with Campagnolo® 11-speed. When does the conversion service become available? What is involved? Can I still run a 10-speed cassette on my newly converted 11-speed compatible wheel? Will the conversion affect the performance or durability of my wheel? How do I prepare my wheel for this conversion service?

HED Belgium C2 Clincher Rim : Fairwheel Bikes, Cycling Boutique HED's Belgium C2 rims are one of our top picks for custom built wheels, and are quite possibly the finest aluminum clincher rims available. Using strict manufacturing tolerances and good quality control, HED has produced a near perfectly round rim with extremely parallel machined braking surfaces. Using such tight tolerances allows for wheel builds with better spoke tension balance, increasing the longevity of the build. A nearly imperceptible welded rim seam and wide cross section ensure a high strength-to-weight ratio and maxiumum wheel life. An additional benefit of the Belgium's wide 23 mm sidewalls is improved tire performance. Black Rims The black HED Belgiums feature the same machined sidewall and brake wear indicator as the silver brake track. Wheel Building We recommend that wheels built with HED rims be assembled by an experienced wheelbuilder.
