The Great Geek Manual » The World’s Most Beautiful Libraries I make no secret of the fact that I’m a hardcore bibliophile, but we’re a common enough lot these day. And the one sight that always makes me linger over a webpage is rows and rows of neatly organized books. So, in an effort to draw more like-minded read here to my little blog, I decided to round-up a gallery of photos of some of the most beautiful libraries I’ve ever seen photos of. Enjoy. For more inspiration check our previous collection. visualsundae The Gravity of Illusion: Dyson's Mysterious Garden Fountain A simple water feature can take an ordinary deck and turn it into something magnificent. But a water feature fashioned by celebrated industrial designer James Dyson (of Dyson vacuums fame) is bound to be the most unforgettable water feature ever. This fountain, part of an overall garden design dubbed “The Wrong Garden,” was created by Dyson for the Royal Horticultural Society’s 2003 Chelsea Flower Show. Dyson’s inspiration for the highly unusual outdoor fountain was M.C. The secret is deceptively simple: the water is actually flowing inside and through the tanks and being propelled through small openings at the highest corner of the tanks.

These Examples of Surrealist Architecture Will Make You Feel Dizzy Contemporary art — many find it inaccessible. These structures are amazing, though. For some reason I completely love the idea of run-down provincial French houses tethered only by electrical cables. For the top image, I imagine the architect rolling his eyes as the penthouse owner for the 20th time demands an even bigger balcony, and the other tenants follow suit because it blocks out their sunlight.

“The Art of Clean Up”: El arte de ordenar por Ursus Werhli, vía bumbumbum “The Art of Clean Up” es un libro del artista alemán Ursus Werhli, aquí recopila distintos objetos y situaciones completamente organizadas. Explore more. Web pages, photos, and videos | StumbleUpon.com I've always wanted a treehouse when I was a child but living in a city made it a little difficult. Instead, we would built forts, tents or just crawl under the bed to play. It's weird right now but back then we really loved having those hideouts where nobody could find us. We could stay there for as long as we wanted. Telling horror stories and feeling like these were the safest places to be. But what happens if you're an adult and still dream of a treehouse? I did a little web research for treehouses all over the world and oh my what I found. Safe Arbor in Switzerland. Trillium. The enchanted forest. A modern, pitched roof treehouse. A treehouse morning. A dream treehouse. Those are just a few of many treehouses.

Here not only do you want these for yourself, but you also want to take them away from the other person. Envy and jealousy, therefore, are forms of power, ineffectual and harmful as they are, because you want to deprive others of what they have. Envy arises from feelings of inadequacy, a sense of hollowness and unworthiness. Envy is a hunger that cannot be filled. The truth is that we can never be deprived, no matter what others have. Here is a story from the Jewish tradition: A storyteller said, “Once there was a bird that lived on the far side of the mountain, a beautiful bird of many colors. “The bird was happy whenever he looked at its own feathers. Here the storyteller stopped her story. “That’s it?” “No.” “Then she said to me, ‘You should advise the bird to raise its eyes and look at its beautiful feathers.
