Google tablet will be 7-inch 'entertainment device' much smaller than 9.7-inch iPad 2Will launch in March or AprilAndroid touchscreen will cost $200Comes after Google creates or updates web stores for books, music and films By Rob Waugh Updated: 19:55 GMT, 5 January 2012 The Google tablet seems to be pitched squarely at Amazon's market for Kindle Fire (pictured). It will reportedly feature a seven-inch panel, run Google's Android - unsurprisingly - and will retail at less than $200, the same price as Kindle Fire Sources in the Far Eastern factories that build hi-tech components for companies such as Google, Apple and Amazon have hinted that Google's upcoming own-brand tablet will be seven inches, as opposed to iPad's 9.7. The sources in Google's supply chain believe that Google will launch the own-brand tablet PC in March or April, according to a report in Digitimes. Google has recently made moves into selling music, films and books, so such a move would make sense.

Yes, Nokia Is Building a Tablet - John Paczkowski - Mobile
It’s no great secret that Nokia has been eyeing the tablet market. Today brings confirmation that the company is actually developing hardware for it. Asked by Finnish magazine Kauppalehti Optio if Nokia is building a tablet, Marko Ahtisaari — the company’s top designer — replied, “We’re working on it,” adding that he devotes about a third of his time to the effort. Not a surprise, really. Launching a Windows 8 tablet is an obvious move for Nokia, one that its leadership has hinted at in the past. “One of the things that we are excited about in terms of support for the Windows Phone are the announcements made around Windows 8 for tablets and personal computers,” Elop said. Particularly if Nokia brings to it the same design and engineering resources that it did to the Lumia 900. (Image courtesy of Jonas Daehnert)

And you can also use the keyboard. 3. You might drag People, Mail, Messaging and Calendar over to the left-hand side, for instance, to form a separate 'People' group. 4. 5. 6.
