Perfect Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Some add a little of the cooking water to the mashed potatoes for extra starch. Our Best Bites | Tips, Tricks, and Tastes from Two Real-Life Kitchens The Daily Spud Pumpkin Smoothie Leesten. And heer me. You must make these tonight, tomorrow, and next week. They’re pumpkin smoothies. I had my doubts myself before I ever made a pumpkin smoothie for the first time. Using pumpkin pie filling, frozen solid before blending, gives the smoothie a lovely built-in sweetness and flavor, and the vanilla yogurt takes the flavor over the top. But boy, oh boy. You’ve gotta trust me on this one. The Cast of Characters: Pumpkin pie filling, vanilla flavored yogurt, whole milk, cinnamon, and cinnamon graham crackers. Start by throwing the graham crackers into a plastic bag, then crush them by banging them with something. Start by adding the milk to a blender. Then add the vanilla yogurt. Grab the frozen pumpkin pie filling… And drop it in. Then add a few dashes of cinnamon. Turn on the blender and blend it until the frozen pie filling is totally broken up. They’re nice and cold now, so serve it up immediately. I love these little dang stemless wine glasses. Absolutely delicious.

Toby's Estate My Homemade Food Recipes & Tips @EnjoyYourCooking.com Cereal Breakfast Shake The kid and I have a new favorite breakfast shake. The first time I made this for him, he wasn’t really sure what to think. “Cereal in a milkshake is just weird, mom“, he whimpered as he sat there with a concerned look on his face, clenching his beloved Kellogg’s smacks box. In all honesty, he’s a great sport and always willing to try my somewhat strange dinner concoctions or soup brews, but you don’t want to be messin’ with the kid’s cereal. But then he tasted it… and loved every single sip. Ingredients: 2 bananas 1/2 cup Kellogg’s honey smacks 2 cups milk 2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 10 ice cubes Directions: Pour 2 cups of milk in a blender. Go for really ripe bananas. Pour in the vanilla extract. Sprinkle in 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp sugar. I tried several kinds of cereal, but this one just works best. Add 1/2 to 2/3 cup. Add the ice cubes. Blend until the cereal has turned into teeny, tiny flecks. Really love this shake.

Once A Month Cooking | Freezer Cooking | Once A Month Mom A Butcher's Diary Kaytucky Chicken I have a really fun recipe for you! And easy, too. It’s hardly any work; the oven does the work for you, but it’s a really fun and tasty way to serve chicken for a change. Serve with an Avocado & Fennel Salad, lots of skillet baked potatoes and a little Green Peppercorn Sauce, but that’s mainly because I’m seriously addicted to how the sauce tastes on potatoes. This was absolutely delicious! Directions: 4 chicken fillets 4 frozen puff pastry sheets 4 oz cream cheese (the firm kind) few rashes of bacon flat-leaf parsley 1 spring onion 1 large egg pepper salt This is what we call ontbijtspek here. I’ve also chopped a spring onion with my cute orange baby Santoku. And I’ve finely chopped a small handful of flat-leaf parsley. Add the spring onions, parsley, crumbled up bacon and a good pinch of pepper to 4 oz firm cream cheese; I’ve opted for low-fat cream cheese. Mix it all up. Make a fairly deep cut in each chicken fillet. Until I ended up with puff pastry looking like this. Kay’s Recipe Card

Remove Ugly Scratches from Dinnerware with Bar Keeper's Friend As @emannths noted, one of the reasons behind the "magic" is oxalic acid. I mention this again because their reply was hidden by LifeHacker from a question (dunno why replies are hidden by default - odd). Annnywayyy... oxalic acid is also AWESOME on rust. It eats it. Make a paste with BKF and some water, "paint" it over the rust stains and let it sit for awhile. If I leave a can of soup or something sitting on the kitchen counter, for example, and it occasionally gets wet, eventually a rust ring will form. Wear rubber gloves or wash your hands after messing with it for too long...
