RA: Top 10 August 2016 Festivals South West Four Clapham Common, London, UK August 27 - August 28 London's festival offering expands every year, but when it comes to size and spectacle, SW4 remains one of the capital's clear frontrunners. 2016 marks the 13th edition of the August bank holiday event, with another slew of marquee names set to descend on Clapham Common across two days. There'll be techno from Sven Väth, Carl Cox and Recondite, house from Jamie Jones, Danny Tenaglia and Black Coffee, and more raucous sounds courtesy of Andy C, Dizzee Rascal and DJ EZ. But there's one act that really sets this year apart from the rest, not least because the organisers are calling them "the biggest headliner in SW4 history." Enter The Chemical Brothers, who will make their festival debut on Sunday night. RA Pick: Four Tet is the special guest on the main stage on Sunday, so get ready to hear the biggest tunes in his record bag. Lightning in a Bottle - Photos, Videos, and Festival Information Take a creative powerhouse like Burning Man, with the same mind-warping musical talent, and trade the desert for lush greenery, rolling hills and a scenic lake, and you have the fairytale that is the Lightning in a Bottle festival (LIB). This 4-day celebration of art, sustainability, music, performance and life aims to spread the proverbial lightning beyond the bottle and into the daily lives of all its participants. When Lightning in a Bottle Strikes Produced by the Do LaB, a creative collective based out of Southern California, Lightning in a Bottle began in 2000 as a private birthday party in the Santa Ynez Mountains outside Santa Barbara and has grown into a public event. You’ll find three-dimensional interactive art installations, yoga and meditation services, a colorful cityscape of vendors, performers and games, and a vibe that’s more like a chill psychedelic circus sideshow than a big-box music festival.
