Oreo Cookies-Recipe Oreo-Oreo Recipes-Cheese Cupcakes-Oreo Cheesecakes Posted by Grace Massa Langlois on Wednesday, 21st July 2010 I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like Oreo cookies or Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes. Who could resist cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies? Not Me! I went out yesterday to do my weekly shop, came home, and before I was able to bring in the first grocery bag Matt was hunting for the cookies and cream ice cream. One of Matt’s favourite desserts of all time is cherry cheesecake and I thought to myself why not Oreo Cookies and Cream Cheesecakes, that should satisfy his craving. Plus these cheesecakes are super easy to prepare, everything comes together in one bowl and there’s no crushing chocolate wafers with a rolling pin, then melting butter, baking the crust first and then baking a second time when filled. Drop an Oreo cookie into each muffin tin, make filling, add chopped cookies, bake, and enjoy, how easy is that? I can’t wait to try my hand at homemade Oreo cookies. Braided Spaghetti Bread & The official blog of Americas favorite frozen dough We are carb lovers at our house, so when I saw the Braided Spaghetti Bread recipe in the Rhodes Home Baked Family Favorites with frozen dough cookbook I knew we would love it. This is a really simple recipe; it just takes a little planning for thawing the dough. It will take 2-3 hours for the bread loaf to thaw to room temperature or 1-2 hours for the rolls to thaw to room temperature. You will need: 1 Loaf Rhodes Bread Dough or 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature6 oz spaghetti, cooked 1 cup thick spaghetti sauce 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 –inch cubes 1 egg white Parmesan cheese Parsley flakes Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray (or use parchment paper). Roll loaf or combined dinner rolls into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Remove wrap from dough. Make cuts 1 ½-inches apart on long sides of dough to within ½-inch of filling. Begin braid by folding top and bottom strips toward filling. This was fantastic!

Food on a Stick: 11 Fresh Ways | Allrecipes Restaurant Style Orange Chicken Alright you guys, seriously, this orange chicken tastes exactly like the best orange chicken you’ve ever had at any restaurant. I was very, very, very skeptical at first because I’ve never fried meat before and I was afraid it would turn out terribly. Kramer was adamant about having me make orange chicken that would remind me him Chinese take-out, though, and I couldn’t let him down! It was perfectly crispy and crunchy and the sauce was right on point; sweet and tangy and with a little bit of heat. I honestly can’t emphasize how good this orange chicken is. Your ingredients. Mix together the chicken, egg, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of canola or vegetable oil, then add in 1/2 cup of cornstarch and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Heat enough vegetable or canola oil in a pot or a wok (about an inch deep in the pot) for about 5 minutes over high heat. Turn the heat to medium-high and fry the chicken in small batches so it cooks evenly. In one more bowl, zest your orange. Cook time: Total time:

Unbelievably Easy Roast Beef I present to you all a Christmas roast. It’s the perfect holiday meal. This roast beef is rich and flavorful, while still very buttery and tender without actually using any butter! Believe it, friends, for I speak the truth. Happy Holidays! Look at how simple those ingredients are! Cover a baking sheet with foil, then place a cooling rack over top. Make the garlic into a paste. Continue to press down on the garlic with the side of your knife until it starts to form a paste. I know this is a terrible picture, but it should be as smooth as possible. Mix the garlic together with the pepper, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Rub the roast with olive oil then rub with the herb and garlic mixture. Heat the remaining oil in a medium pan and add the roast, browning on each side for 3-4 minutes. Allow to rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing. Slice thinly and enjoy with some vegetables, potatoes, or crusty bread. Unbelievably Easy Roast Beef Cook time: Total time: Serves: 6

soft pretzel buns and knots Guess what we’re making this weekend? I have been obsessed with make soft pretzels at home since about 16 seconds after I learned that you could, 7 years ago. For something that looks so twisted, dark and complex, they’re actually simple to make, requiring only a basic bread dough (flour, water, salt and yeast), formed into pretzel knot (a rope with the ends twisted together, then folded back over itself), dipped briefly in a baking soda solution, salted, and baked until pretty. Or so this was the case nearly a decade ago. The thing is, pretzels made with a baking soda solution are quite pretzel-ish! Which is to say, I have good news and bad today. Soft pretzels, previously: Over here. Soft Pretzels Hot Dog Buns, Hamburger Buns and Knots Adapted from Zingerman’s Bakehouse via the NYTimes Yield: 14 hot dog buns, 12 hamburger buns, 32 tiny soft pretzel knots, 12 to 16 large soft pretzels knots (12 the size you’d see at a beer) or 16 sandwich rolls Time: 2 hours (1 1/2 hours rising time)

Sex in a Pan Sex in a Pan – crazy name for a dessert, but it’s one of the best desserts you’ll ever have, it’s mostly a pudding dessert with a crunchy pecan bottom crust. Don’t laugh at the name of this dessert! OK, you can laugh, it is funny. I have no idea why it’s called sex in a pan, maybe because it’s so good.
