Oublions rapidement les considérations stylistiques, où d’ailleurs curieusement aucun commentateur n’arrive exactement à la même description du macro-type hipster que son prochain, ainsi que l’opinion que l’on se devrait d’avoir à propos de ces individus étranges. Peut-on écouter de la nu disco, lire Vice, regarder Tracks… et ne pas être branché? Puisqu’il est désormais courant parmi les hipsters comme parmi les bobos avant eux hein, de produire une auto-détestation endogène, il est temps de se demander si être un hipster et l’accepter, c’est vraiment en être un.
