Mini Corn Dog Muffins

Mini Corn Dog Muffins
The original Mini Corn Dog Muffins! A fun and unique snack recipe for any special or ordinary occasion! Are you ready for some footballllll food?! :) Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably aware that the Super Bowl is this weekend. Although a couple of days ago I did make the mistake of asking Ben what day of the week it was being played on. Smacks forehead. Hearty, one-sided chuckles ensued. Always up for a good theme week, I thought I’d share a few nibbles and bites over the next couple of days that are not only great for the big game this weekend, but would also be a hit at any party or get-together during the year. I’m kicking things off (pun intended) with a sweet & savory bite that’s sure to score big points (…) with any crowd – Mini Corn Dog Muffins. These poppable, sweet and crispy cornbread bites with salty, all-beef hot dogs taste exactly like a state fair corn dog in a teeny-tiny package! Start the Mini Corn Dog Muffins by making the cornbread batter. And bake.

Muffin Tin Tacos | Hispanic Kitchen Tacos pop up around the world in so many variations; many of them far from the authentic versions you’d find in Mexico. A warm, soft corn tortilla with fillings of any kind is hard to beat, that’s for sure. For a change, though, here’s a fun way to use flour tortillas, cut to size, and pressed into a muffin tin. I’ve included a homemade seasoning blend using pantry staples and adapted to our particular tastes. Muffin Tin Tacos(12 individual tacos) 1 pound ground hamburger½ onion, diced1 large jalapeno, diced¾ cup waterSeasoning mix (see recipe below)12 flour tortillas2 cups shredded cheeseShredded lettuce and diced tomatoes for topping. –Cook the ground hamburger thoroughly, drain and return to a clean skillet. When they’re done, just pop them out and add your favorite toppings, including lettuce and tomato. Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip The Super Bowl is quickly approaching and that means that it is time to start dusting off some recipes for snacking! I am a big fan of hot melted cheese dips and I had an idea for a new one, a bacon double cheese burger dip that has all of the flavours of a bacon double cheese burger. Beef is the main part of a burger so I started out there and I added some ingredients that I commonly add to burgers including onions, garlic and worcestershire sauce. Next up was the bacon and then the cheese and I included both cheddar for the flavour and mozzarella for the stringy melted goodness. I went with the standard hot melted cheese dip ingredients including the cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream to form the base of the dip. If you cannot live without lettuce and tomatoes in your burgers then topping the hot bacon double cheese burger dip with freshly diced juicy tomatoes and sliced crisp lettuce is the way to go and I highly recommend that you try it! Broccoli Cheddar Biscuit Muffins Broccoli Cheddar Biscuit Muffins by Rebecca Sep 6th, 2010 // Easy Cheats, Recipes, Sides In the past I’ve mentioned that my kid and I were both delighted to find ready to bake biscuits in the refrigerated section of Trader Joe’s. These biscuits taste every bit as sinful as the Pillsbury kind but have none of that artificial crap in them. We started with a the Trader Joe’s biscuits as a base and we pretended we were planting a garden. Broccoli Cheddar Biscuit Muffin Recipe Prep Time: 10 mins Cooking Time: 10 mins Ingredients: 1 package ready to bake biscuits 2 cups broccoli florets (blanched + chopped) 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Jenna's Journey: Chicken Roll Ups I have a great, easy and delicious new recipe to share with you! One of my favorite things to do in my limited free time is to search food blogs and food websites. I kept seeing recipes similar to the one I'm going to share but I didn't like half of the ingredients, and the ones I did like, Chris didn't. First, I boiled 2 chicken breasts. Meanwhile, I let a block of cream cheese thaw out. I mixed the cream cheese with 1 1/2 cups of cheddar and 1 cup of Monterey jack and some salt and pepper. Once the chicken was cooked, Chris shredded it for me with his hands of steel, and we mixed it into the cheese mixture. Then I put the mixture on big, buttery, flakey crescent rolls. And rolled them up. Finally, bake them at 350 for 20-25 minutes! 1 pkg cream cheese (8oz)1 pkg crescent rolls (6 ct) (note, you can also use TWO packages of regular sized crescents)2 shredded, cooked chicken breasts1.5 C grated chedder cheese 1 C grated Monterey Jack1/4 t salt1/4 t pepperbread crumbs1/4 stick melted butter

Sausage Biscuit Bites - Football Friday It's tailgating time again! We are making these Sausage Biscuits Bites for the game this weekend. We've made these several times; they are SO good! You can roll the sausage and cheese into balls ahead of time and assemble the biscuit bites when you are ready to bake them. I was worried that these biscuit bites would be greasy, but they weren't. I used Tennessee Pride sausage and Pillsbury Grands Jr biscuits - that might make a difference. Sausage Biscuit Bites(Printable Recipe) 2 (10 count) cans flaky biscuits (Grands Jr) 1 lb sausage (Tennessee Pride) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 400. Mix uncooked sausage and cheese gently until well blended. Remove biscuits from cans and separate each biscuit into two layers, making 40 total biscuit layers. Place sausage-cheese ball in each biscuit cup.

Prepare to never throw away your left over Mashed Potatoes again….in fact, you will find yourself making Mashed Potatoes just for these Bombs! Here is how to make it happen. Steak fingers with jalapeno cream gravy “You’re not a fan of ‘Friday Night Lights? I can’t believe it!’” said a Texan friend to me, shaking her head. Then there was my native New Yorker friend who said, “‘Friday Night Lights’ has made me fall in love with Texas. Tell me again why you don’t watch it?” Finally, my dad threw his hat into the discussion. It soon became clear to me that by not watching “Friday Night Lights,” I’d been missing out on something important. Now, I’m only halfway into the first season but this show set in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas has the power of making me laugh, cheer and cry—sometimes all at the same time. Take the Alamo Freeze—the ice cream and hamburger place on the show that is a fictional stand-in for a Dairy Queen. Now, when you go to a Dairy Queen you may order an ice-cream cone dipped in crackling, crisp chocolate, a thick Blizzard milkshake chock full of goodies or a cheeseburger, both juicy and fat. Eleanor gave me a funny look. Steak fingers as home cooking?
