Tracy Morgan.net Social media is lying to you about Burma’s Muslim ‘cleansing’ Don't you wonder sometimes, that the information we are being fed on daily basis can be untrue entirely or exaggerated to the point where it loses all its truth? PHOTO: REUTERS Thus, I took on the mission to sort the truth out for myself once and for all and researched some pictures that I felt were dubious. Below are a few pictures and their original copies. You can evidently see the gross difference between them and how they are thrown out of context. This was a picture shared on Facebook. I have found the original version which reads differently to the the one posted on the social networking site. This picture was taken in 2010 after an earthquake in China and captures the efforts put in by the Tibetans to help rescue the victims. Another widely circulated picture captioned “More then 1,000 people killed in Burma” is also fake. The original, as you can see below, is taken in Thailand in the year 2004. As you can guess, this is also a fabricated picture. Now, view the original. Loading ...

Authentic Happiness BG: BEAR GRYLLS DOT COM The Angry Pharmacist Daniel Sloss Polydactyly Polydactyly or polydactylism (from Greek πολύς (polys), meaning "many", and δάκτυλος (daktylos), meaning "finger"),[1] also known as hyperdactyly, is a congenital physical anomaly in humans, dogs, and cats having supernumerary fingers or toes.[2] Polydactyly is the opposite of oligodactyly (fewer fingers or toes). Signs and symptoms[edit] 27-year-old male with unilateral preaxial polydactyly affecting the left thumb. The incidence of congenital deformities in newborns is approximately 2%, and 10% of these deformities involve the upper extremity.[4][5] Congenital anomalies of the limb can be classified in seven categories, proposed by Frantz and O’Rahilly and modified by Swanson, based on the embryonic failure causing the clinical presentation. Ulnar or postaxial polydactyly[edit] This is the most common situation, in which the extra digit is on the ulnar side of the hand, thus the side of the little finger. Radial or preaxial polydactyly[edit] Central polydactyly[edit] Causes[edit]

The Happiness Project BACK TO THE FUTURE : Irina Werning I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today… Two years ago, I decided to actually do this. So, with my camera, I started inviting people to go back to their future.. Now its time for KOREA, TAIWAN AND TOKYO. Patton Oswalt Do blind people hallucinate on LSD? I’ve just found a remarkable 1963 study [pdf] from the Archives of Opthalmology in which 24 blind participants took LSD to see if they could experience visual hallucinations. It turns out, they can, although this seems largely to be the case in blind people who had several years of sight to begin with, but who later lost their vision. Those blind from a very early age (younger than two years-old) did not report visual hallucinations, probably because they never had enough visual experience to shape a fully-functioning visual system when their brain was still developing. It is evident that a normal retina is not needed for the occurrence of LSD-induced visual experiences. These visual experiences do not seem to differ from the hallucinations reported by normal subjects after LSD.Such phenomena occurred only in blind subjects who reported prior visual activity. Three other reports deal with the effects of hallucinogenic drugs on blind subjects.
