CreatureBox At long last, we’re extremely excited to announce our new book project: The MONSTER VOLUME. Measuring... Howdy folks! Draw with Photoshop Elements 10 Pencil Tool Drawing with the Pencil tool in Photoshop Elements 10 creates hard edges. You can’t get the soft, feathery edges that you can with the Brush tool. In fact, the edges of a pencil stroke can’t even be anti-aliased. Keep in mind that if you draw anything other than vertical or horizontal lines, your lines will have some jaggies when they’re viewed up close. But hey, don’t diss the Pencil just yet. Those hard-edged strokes can be perfect for web graphics.
Triangulation How-To Ok, so now we know how to measure angles and draw the corresponding lines on our pad. So how do you go about drawing this handsome fellow by triangulation (at last)? Remember the side-angle-angle theorem? One side and two angles determine a triangle. Meaning they determine the position of the missing vertex once you know two vertices. So we start by choosing an arbitrary line to be the given side in the side-angle-angle theorem. Quentin Blake - How I Draw read this in french Most of the time I need to do a rough in which I find out how people stand, what sort of expressions they have and how they fit on the page. For a sequence of drawings more planning is needed, and one needs to think of a number of questions at the same time (which is part of the interest of the job): Is the method and medium of this drawing suitable to the atmosphere of the book?

Manga materials website offers thousands of reference poses for budding artists to download If you’re just starting out on the path to your goal of becoming a manga artist, it can be hard to properly visualize how your characters’ head, limbs, and torso should be positioned for a specific pose. Practicing by sketching with a human model is a time-tested way to hone your understanding of how to draw human anatomy and clothing, but it still poses a problem. See, most art classes don’t feature models for such manga staples as, say, a girl in a sailor suit firing a pistol. An alternative would be to hire a model on your own, but that’s beyond the budget of many artists who’re still in the amateur stage of their artistic endeavors. But as long as you can scrape together about 2,000 yen (US$16.26), there’s a new website that will supply you with thousands of reference photos to help kick-start your manga dreams. A few months ago, we took a look at a website that offered pre-drawn, ready-to-use manga backgrounds.
Rupert Bear - A Weird But Compelling Childhhod Icon Courtesy of Phil Rushton here are some pages from the 1956 Rupert Annual. This is a particularly beautiful example of Alfred Bestall's work. Bestall had inherited the little bear from it's creator Mary Tourtel in 1935, when Tourtel's eyesight started to fail. Bestall was initially taken on a six week trial basis and had to follow the template established by Tourtel as closely as possible. But as time went on he developed the strip into a work of real beauty that easily eclipsed the work of his predecessor. By the time that this annual appeared Bestall was into his sixties and still working for a relatively modest wage. aportugueselove.blogspot.pt/2013/01/software-to-enhance-your-creativity.html Hello Zazzlers and friends.Today I bring you a list of programs you can use to pursue your creative endeavors.
