Automatically place multiple images in a grid One of the nicest new features of InDesign CS4 is the ability to automatically place multiple images at once, arranged neatly in a grid of frames automatically created to your specifications. Here's how: 1. With nothing selected on your page, choose File > Place, and select multiple images by clicking on one image, and then command-clicking (Mac) or ctrl-clicking (Windows) on subsequent images. 2. Click the Open button. 3. 4. Again, while continuing to hold the mouse button you can adjust the space between the rows and columns using shift+the cursor keys on the keyboard. 5. Only as many frames as you have images selected will be created. Conversely, if you have more images selected than the number of frames you specified in your grid, after the first grid is created, you will see another "place cursor", and then you can repeat steps 3-5 to create a second grid.
Set Up Your Speakers From Wired How-To Wiki Whether you've got the same cheap system you rocked in college or 10 grand's worth of high-fidelity frivolity, one of the most important factors in how good your audio system sounds is where you put the speakers. Sound can trip over objects, bounce off walls, get lost in a big fluffy couch, or fall to any number of other physical impediments. Poor locations will spoil the sound, while careful placement will bring out the best in your gear. Be prepared to consider and experiment with even the oddest position —- it could be your perfect solution. This article is part of a wiki anyone can edit. Basics of Photoshop: Designing a Website But a design is just a design without the function. here, please notice, I'm actually speaking on a programming level, not a design level. Photoshop is pure design. Wordpress, joomla and many other out-of-the-box sites are focused mainly on the design. I agree that design is critical and is actually par with programming. As to lumping Joomla, WP, and PS together, yes I am. My statement is simply this. now as to your super site request, I would love to. Facebook privacy options untangled People are up in arms about Facebook's new privacy policies, partly because some information was forced into public view and partly because there are so many settings that figuring out what's public and what's private is confusing. Guilbert Gates of the New York Times clears things up with the above graphic. To put it simply: there's a lot of stuff.

It's a pen that works with special dot paper to capture your handwriting and drawings, and links what you write to what you hear since it also records every word within earshot. All of that information is transferred to your Mac for future reference. The Mac software that comes with the Pulse has been lacking in comparison to its Windows sibling in that it couldn't convert handwriting to editable computer text. Livescribe and Vision Objects today announced the Mac version of MyScript for Livescribe, handwriting-recognition software that converts handwritten notes from Livescribe into editable text. Owners of the Pulse smartpen can create their own dictionaries of commonly used words, abbreviations, names, or terms for even better conversion accuracy. A 30-day free trial for Pulse smartpen owners is available here, and the program can be purchased for US$29.95 at any time.
