Does God Exist - Six Reasons to Believe that God is Really There - Existence of God - Proof of God
PDFListen to article By Marilyn Adamson Just once wouldn't you love for someone to simply show you the evidence for God's existence? No arm-twisting. No statements of, "You just have to believe." Well, here is an attempt to candidly offer some of the reasons which suggest that God exists. But first consider this. Many examples showing God's design could be given, possibly with no end. The Earth...its size is perfect. The Earth is located the right distance from the sun. And our moon is the perfect size and distance from the Earth for its gravitational pull. Water...colorless, odorless and without taste, and yet no living thing can survive without it. It has wide margin between its boiling point and freezing point. Water is a universal solvent. Water is also chemically neutral. Water has a unique surface tension. Water freezes from the top down and floats, so fish can live in the winter. Ninety-seven percent of the Earth's water is in the oceans. The universe has not always existed.

The Apocrypha Index Sacred Texts Christianity Index Apocrypha means 'hidden things' in Greek. The Apocryphical books of the Bible fall into two categories: texts which were included in some canonical version of the Bible at some point, and other texts of a Biblical nature which have never been canonical. Deuterocanonical Apocrypha The Deuterocanonical Books of the Bible These are books which are included in some version of the canonical Bible, but which have been excluded at one time or another, for textual or doctrinal issues. Evolution and Mathematics Mathematics and especially the sub-field of statistics, is an area of study that has given the evolutionists trouble over the years. It is a primary focus area where the lie of evolution can be readily exposed. What statistics do is predict with great accuracy the odds that an event will occur.

Bible Stories for Kids - The Armor of God ...God planned to send Jesus to save us! Save us from what? Well, when God made the world it was perfect in every way. And then Adam came along and ate the fruit God told him not to eat. Bad idea! At that moment God’s perfect world wasn’t perfect anymore. chinese ] More neato Biblical character interpretations either constructed or relayed to me by friends. I've relayed this material to Christians, and some of them respond with much happiness, declaring that God has preserved a wonderful record of Biblical accounts in the Chinese language. Well, I dunno about that. I haven't come to any conclusion myself. But here are some counterarguments I've thought of, which should hopefully persuade the reader to be wary of this material. The author of this theory is a missionary!

Start Here Start Here The goal of Red Letter Christians is simple: To take Jesus seriously by endeavoring to live out His radical, counter-cultural teachings as set forth in Scripture, and especially embracing the lifestyle prescribed in the Sermon on the Mount. Ironically, it was a secular Jewish country-and-western disc jockey in Nashville, Tennessee who first suggested that title. During a radio interview with my friend Jim Wallis, that deejay declared, “You’re one of those Red-Letter Christians – you know, the ones who are really into all those New Testament verses that are in red letters!” When Jim said, “That’s right!” he answered for all of us.

Ark of the Covenant Press here for video. One day, in 1978, Ron decided to go sightseeing near the Damascus Gate, in Jerusalem. Walking along an ancient stone quarry, known to some as "the Calvary Escarpment," he was talking with a local authority about Roman antiquities. Without warning, Ron's left hand pointed to a site being used as a rubbish dump and said, "That's Jeremiah's Grotto and the Ark of the Covenant is in there." Internet History Sourcebooks Update Information 2006: In 2006 the Internet Medieval Sourcebooks and associated sourcebooks are undergoing a major overhaul to remove bad links and add more documents. 1. This project is both very large and fairly old in Internet terms. At the time it was instigated (1996), it was not clear that web sites [and the documents made available there] would often turn out to be transient. As a result there is a process called "link rot" - which means that a "broken link" is a result of someone having taken down a web page.

Jesus likes crappy gifts. Dads are weird. They love lame gifts from their kids. Have you seen some of the 'art' or 'paintings' dads have on their refrigerator? I swear my dog [the smart one, not the dumb one] could draw something more grand. 6000 Years.org Odd Things in Wrong Places Every once in a while archaeologists (and sometimes regular Joes) make some remarkable discoveries. Stunned, they are often unable to explain what it is they’ve found, how it came into existence, or ascertain its value. This is a comprehensive list of such artifacts; artifacts that many believe should have never existed given the discerned age/period of their creation. In June 1936 (or 1934 according to some accounts), Max Hahn and his wife Emma were on a walk when they noticed a rock with wood protruding from its core.

Where did the Genesis Flood waters go? - ChristianAnswers The whole Earth was covered with the Flood waters, and the world that then existed was destroyed by the very waters out of which the Earth had originally emerged at God's command (Genesis 1:9; 2 Peter 3:5-6). But where did those waters go after the Flood? There are a number of Scripture passages that identify the Flood waters with the present-day seas (Amos 9:6 and Job 38:8-11 note “waves”). If the waters are still here, why are the highest mountains not still covered with water, as they were in Noah's day? Psalm 104 suggests an answer. After the waters covered the mountains (verse 6), God rebuked them and they fled (verse 7); the mountains rose, the valleys sank down (verse 8) and God set a boundary so that they will never again cover the Earth (verse 9)[1].
