These little tree ornaments make the best hostess gifts… or just a fun little weekend DIY to help get you into the holiday spirit. While I was home for the Thanksgiving break, my mom and I took to a huge bag of corks (are we the only family out there that imbibes copious quantities of wine?) and dusted off our glue guns. We made quite an assortment of these fun little tree ornaments… getting creative and adding buttons, scraps fo fabric, and even rows of beads. We had all of the materials around our house.

Pour ce DIY il vous faut : - Un carnet à couverture vierge - Le modèle à télécharger ICI - Un compas (ou une grosse aiguille) - Une aiguille - Du fil de la couleur de votre choix (j’ai ici utilisé du fil à repriser, car légèrement plus épais que du fil à coudre) Après avoir imprimé le modèle à la taille désirée, placez-le sur la couverture du carnet et maintenez-le en place avec du ruban adhésif. Placez le carnet ouvert, la couverture contre une surface adaptée, et aux endroits marqués d’un point rouge sur le modèle, réalisez des trous à l’aide de la pointe de votre compas. Retirez le modèle de la couverture et aidez-vous-en pour tracer légèrement au crayon et à la règle les lignes qui serviront à vous guider lors de la broderie. Insérez le fil dans le chas de l’aiguille, faites un noeud au bout et brodez! Et voilà!
DIY: tubular machine knitting... and a knot pillow I had to practice using my knitting machine, and with the two beds machines, one of the first lessons on the manual is about how to knit in tubular. I thought that doing the same thing over and over is actually the key to getting it right... right? 4 bights turk's head knot pillow: supplies (but considering that I unraveled a big chunk at the end probably 3 would have been enough) 4 bights turk's head knot pillow: tutorial The finish measure of this pillow is 52cm x 52 cm // 20.5" x 20.5" It's large: it would be perfect as floor pillow (but I would scotch guarded in that case). First, I doubled the yarn and because I wanted a thick knit I passed it twice by the bobbin winder with paraffin. Then I casted on and started to knit in tubular 30 stitches on each bed: first few rows with scrap yarn, then knitted the cotton on tension 2 on both carriages for ... 6,200 rows. That was the easy part. Actually, pushing down the stuffing isn't the worst part. My hands were sore at the end of this operation.

Sachez que pour ceux qui voudrait pouvoir l'imprimer facilement, un fichier PDF est disponible à la fin de ce message. En principe, ce tutorial vous permettra de créer ceci : Voici le matériel dont nous aurons besoin -Feutrine blanche (épaisse de 2mm de préférence.) Commençons ! Découpez le patron et tracez les pièces sur la feutrine blanche : faîtes ainsi deux corps, une lanière, 4 pieds (deux pour le gauche, deux pour le droit) et enfin 4 bras. -Une fois les pièces découpées, commencez à coudre le corps à la lanière (celle ci est plus longue que nécessaire mais ne vous inquiétez pas, c'est normal : la longueur nécessaire varie d'une personne à l'autre -en fonction de l'espacement des points par exemple- donc j'ai prévu large). -Essayez de tendre au possible la lanière quand vous cousez : il faut qu'elle suivre parfaitement le contour. Félicitation, l'essentiel de votre Adipose est réalisé !
Inspiration: Mur de Cadres | DeboBrico oct15 Depuis très longtemps, j’ai envie de faire un mur de cadres, je sais exactement où je le veux mais je n’arrive pas à me décider sur ce qui le composera, et puis j’avoue que je n’ai pas vraiment eu le temps de m’en préoccuper. Maintenant que je suis en congés j’ai envie de réaliser ce petit projet. Je vous présente donc ma sélection de jolis mur de cadres. Gros coup de coeur pour celui de Tangerinette: Vous pouvez retrouver cette sélection sur mon Tableau dédié sur Printerest.
