beachbungalow8 Delfin-Postigo house (Yatzer: Design Architecture Art Fashion +more) We wanted to commence 2010 with a residence encompassing a strong unique quality in both the design and the aesthetic domain. A residence capturing the meaning of essence and symbolism. As we always aim to please (never giving up until we reach perfection) our search was successfully over when we came across the Delfin & Postigo house. This project is the epitome of our vision and we are proud to present it as our first residential project of this year. Wishing you a Yatzer New Year2010 will be a year to remember.. full of surprises // Just TRUST us !... Sexy, Sex, Kinky, Nudity, S&M, Naked, Truth, No Boundaries, Raw, Simplicity. Their residence may be perceived as offensive or censored to certain ages by some, but to us it is honest and artistic. The pure white floor and walls express a naiveté and purity which control the dynamism of the artworks. These quirks exist throughout the residence with a prime example being the dining chairs. On the mezzanine level everything is exposed.

beachcomber: seaside style I think this gorgeous seaside home has been around the internet for a few years now 'cause I've admired this bedroom for a while. This weekend I was happy to come across a bit more of this place on a Danish website. I'm not sure where it, it does look Scandinavian though, don't you think? I want to move in! Could you see yourself living here? via wohnidee.wunderweib.de Oh Happy Day! Little Green Notebook in the loop - Home - (Current Session: Welcome to Anthropologie  Dress Design Decor Not sure if I mentioned this before, but underneath the lofts where I live, as well as in the original building beside me, they're opening up a number of new stores i'm pretty excited about. Vincenzo's - an italian grocer/café/flower/butcher shop is finally starting to set up, which will be so handy to pop into right after work. An art gallery, card shop, baby store and spa are going in for sure... and there's still a few unknown spaces in construction. Photos: FGR, WISH magazine - scanner by myself.

sail away with me! | Diaper Style Memoirs remember my DIY sailing party invite post? one of our lovely readers asked for some invite ideas and i was more than happy to help. she wanted something easy, fun and creative. i came up with these! and then i got a few more party ideas that i thought you would like as well. so i decided to throw a little sailing soiree for the kids. a fun way to kick off the first day of summer. since we weren’t celebrating any special occasion i tried to keep the spending to a minimum. and i am proud to report that the party cost me $20. that’s all! without resorting to extreme couponing :) i used my first DIY party tip – use paper! i made decorative garlands using craft paper and kitchen twine. i also cut out several iconic sailing shapes and hung them up with fishing line Nick found in daddy’s tackle box. he also discovered these cute little plastic red and white ball things (i don’t know the proper fishing term for these) that added a vintage feel to our wall decoration. the party was a blast!

Small for Big — Playful Modern Kids Design – Eco-Friendly DIY and Handmade Toys – Design Stuff for Baby | Small for Big – Mari Richards the happy home Thoughts from Alice W.: Where This Blogger Creates... When the very lovely Karen Valentine invited me to join her Where Blogger's Create party, I jumped at the chance, and took it as an opportunity to finally have the motivation I needed to get my studio cleaned up and organized. We have lived in this home for almost two years now...and this studio has acted more as a storage room than space to work. But no longer... Now it is a haven to create in...filled with inspiration and beautiful things that I have collected through the years. Albeit...it is a cluttered space...now perhaps 'chaotically' organized...but everything has a place. So I will try to keep the talking brief and allow you to enjoy the photos shared here... Enter Alice's atelier... {oh yeah and St Joshua's too...he has a little spot carved out, just his own, under these shelves} A petite chandelier decorated with sheet music... An old window hangs from the ceiling and holds dried flowers, an old basket and a vintage baby dress... With my work table below... Some favorite old books...
