Debuting at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Microsoft Recite is a notetaking and search application for Windows Mobile phones that lets you record a voice message, then retrieve the messages later using pattern recognition technology (see video below). The Technology Preview of the application is available for download on the Recite site, and currently works on a limited number of handsets. It may turn out to be useful app for those with Windows Mobile devices, but it's notable (pardon the pun) that Windows Mobile devices lack the breadth and depth of innovation applications enjoyed by iPhone users.
