DIY Workout Shirt

DIY Workout Shirt
Happy Fashion Friday!I have a super fun arts and crafts project for my beautiful little bunnies to try over the holiday weekend! I love buying new clothes, but sometimes I love making them even more! I started college as a fashion design major, so I have always been a little crafty when it comes to recycling old T-shirts. This has to be my new favorite DIY reclaimed shirt. You can wear this casual racerback to your workout and then dress it up with a lacy bandeau when you meet your friends for some rabbit food afterwards. Drake A beaded fabric flower necklace tutorial Lately, I've noticed both Etsy and Anthro featuring fabric beaded necklaces. I've also noticed a lot of fabric flowers. So, I decided to combine the two and make myself this necklace. I was going for a Halloween type vibe, but I think it can pass for a post Halloween necklace too. Fold a Paper Gift Box! Several years ago my oldest daughter came home with a handcrafted gift for me that she made in art class. The box she presented me was just as special and pretty as the unique and pretty handmade ceramic necklace it contained. Using scrapbook paper she folded two separate pieces, origami style, to create a delightful little gift box. I’ve made many since then – decorating areas of my home with scrapbook paper that match my home’s decor and stacking the boxes. The only materials you’ll need are two sheets of 12 X 12 coordinating scrapbook paper which you’ll fold using the technique below. You can actually use any size scrapbook paper you’d like.

Easy Patchwork Notebook Tutorial As this school year draws to a close, I can’t help wanting to get ready for next school year. The cost of purchasing all the clothing, shoes and school supplies for 4 kiddos at the same time makes me want to hyperventilate a little bit. If I can spread out the expense over the three month vacation, it sure wouldn’t hurt! My girls love these notebook covers. They are great for covering composition books that kids seem to use up like it’s paper – oh I guess it is paper!

Mod Podge Shoes My husband jokes every time I get the bottle of Mod Podge out that I’m going to Mod Podge fabric to our computer keys or Mod Podge our kids clothing to their bodies. Hey, don’t tempt me. I know, I may go a little overboard with this stuff…….but I just had to try it on some shoes. Originally, I saw the idea on a site my sister showed me. And the lady Mod Podged starburst wrappers to some shoes. It was cute…….but I wanted to try fabric.
