Peugeot expose sa voiture du futur à Shanghai Au Salon automobile de Shanghai, qui a ouvert ses portes ce lundi 20 avril, Peugeot expose la maquette à l'échelle 1 du concept-car RD, projet vainqueur du 5ème concours de design organisé par le constructeur français. Thème du défi : "Imaginez la Peugeot des mégalopoles mondiales de demain". Sur les 2.500 projets proposés, c'est ce véhicule articulé qui a le plus séduit le jury. "Accessible, solide, et d'une simplicité extrême, le concept Peugeot RD s'inscrit donc parfaitement dans l'environnement des futures mégalopoles aux contraintes de mobilité complexes", précise la marque au lion dans un communiqué. Le 5ème concours de design de Peugeot a attiré plus de 600.000 visiteurs sur le site du constructeur français.
Welcome to the British Museum Museum of Muslim Art India MOMA- The Museum of Muslim Art India - is an institution to disseminate information of Art and Architecture of Muslim in India. India is perhaps the only non-muslim country in the world to be a living museum of art and architecture with abundance. It is estimated the Delhi and it environs alone have 3000 monuments. It is also estimated that there are 100000 Muslim monuments throughout India. MOMA will be a voice for muslim art and architecture in India and will motivate a movement to preserve the cultural heritage of muslim here. The muslim monuments are internationally famous and the income generated through tourists attraction is incomparable with the other cultural monuments. It has become important now to spread MOMA and its objectives to the individuals and organisations interested in preservation of Muslim Cultural Heritage in India. It is proposed to construct a Museum Complex in Chennai to showcase the grandeur of contribution by Muslims in this part of the sub-continent. Director

NAL reference no. The National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum has long had a special interest in calligraphy and lettering. What we usually refer to as modern calligraphy stemmed out of the Arts and Crafts Movement in the last years of the 19th century. Other people associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement that took an interest in calligraphy were Walter Crane and C.F.A. The V&A acquired its first example of Johnston's work in 1928; the National Art Library waited until 1934 before his work entered its collections.
