Who Are All Those People In Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - Spacious Planet The album art from Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles is one of the most popular album covers in music history. The cover is a collage of more than 60 famous people. Most of the people selected for the collage were requested by The Beatles. For example, George Harrison requested the three Hindu gurus who appear in the collage. Lennon requested Adolf Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi and Jesus Christ. EMI needed the permission of all living persons in the collage, creating a nightmare for their legal department. - StumbleUpon h &In the Beginning Was The Command Line& - by Neal Stephenson | Mirror Site In the Beginning was the Command Line by Neal Stephenson About twenty years ago Jobs and Wozniak, the founders of Apple, came up with the very strange idea of selling information processing machines for use in the home. Yet now the company that Gates and Allen founded is selling operating systems like Gillette sells razor blades. A person who went into a coma before Microsoft was founded, and woke up now, could pick up this morning's New York Times and understand everything in it--almost: Item: the richest man in the world made his fortune from-what? What the hell is going on here? MGBs, TANKS, AND BATMOBILES Around the time that Jobs, Wozniak, Gates, and Allen were dreaming up these unlikely schemes, I was a teenager living in Ames, Iowa. In retrospect, this was telling me two things about people's relationship to technology. The other, somewhat subtler point, was that interface is very important. Imagine a crossroads where four competing auto dealerships are situated. Bullhorn: "But..."

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy very much to see existing fans of these characters who enjoy my work. However, up until this project, I've been indulgent of being a fan, and neglectful of the challenge of reaching that larger audience. Superheroes already have a prominent place in pop culture. Their images can be seen anywhere. In my mind, one of the most famous pieces of comics dialogue is the oath sworn by Green Lantern. Re-purposing the artwork of Jim Lee, Francis Manapul, and some others, along with my own, and combining it with my usual minimalistic style, I've developed this project spotlighting some quotes from these heroes that can inspire us all daily.

How to Manage Email Inbox Overload and Actually Get Stuff Done As someone who makes his living working entirely online, I get a lot of email. Kate and I used to have times where we spent nearly an entire day going through and processing email instead of researching and writing content for our fantastic readers. We hated those all-day email-fests. At the end, we’d feel a bit of relief that we had cleared our inboxes, but simultaneously feel anxiety that we didn’t get to what’s important to us and the site. Even if we had some time to actually get to writing, our willpower was so drained from having to make so many choices about how to respond that we just didn’t have the mental energy or focus to effectively shift to a different task. We’re not alone in feeling both drained and chained to our inbox. When email was created, it was meant to streamline our communication and make it more efficient. While I admittedly haven’t gotten a complete handle on managing my email effectively, I’ve made huge strides over the years. How to Reduce Email Coming In
