The hunter by using local ladder and ropes shows the unique skills by hanging from steep cliffs as high as around 300 m. The harvesting of honey is possible twice a year April- May & Sep- Nov. The Chromatic Typewriter Washington-based painter Tyree Callahan modified a 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter, replacing the letters and keys with color pads and hued labels to create a functional “painting” device called the Chromatic Typewriter. Callahan submitted the beautiful typewriter as part of the 2012 West Prize competition, an annual art prize that’s determined by popular vote. Offroad Australia I was lucky enough to be able to spend a year travelling in Australia as the first part of my long and slow world adventure. My goals for the trip were simple – I wanted to get way off the beaten track, and explore the kind of Australia that I had seen in movies like “Crocodile Dundee” and “Australia” (sure, the latter may not be the greatest movie of all time, but watch it with the sound off and I guarantee you’ll want to visit Western Australia by the end!). In order to get off the beaten track under my own steam, I needed a vehicle suitable for the challenge, which in Australia meant getting hold of a Toyota Land Cruiser. These things are practically indestructible, and perfect for the kind an offroad Australia adventure.
