Head in Clouds Photographer Jeen Na is only seventeen years old, and he already has a good eye for composition. His double exposure pictures are really the outstanding part of his portfolio. Photos © Jee Na Link via My Darkened Eyes The Perfect Balance Well-known for her wallpaper-inspired body art, Emma Hack has made a distinguishing series titled “Panoramic Bodies,” which explores the paradox of the south Australian landscape. I.e. “often depicted as harsh, although truly fragile and vulnerable to our action and inaction.” [1] See also: “A Magical connection of the Human body and Landscape,” and “Blending into the Background.” 1.

Every photo is a world of its own: sometimes they are tableaus from Alice in Wonderland, sometimes they show dancers in mid-motion, and sometimes they are merely rich explorations in color. Some of her best work uses an unexpected camera angle to play with our perception of planes in the photo– the surface of the water transforms into mirrors, floors, or walls, depending on how the model and the camera work together to create these illusions. Her entire Alice in Wonderland series is incredible– she has the whole cast of characters, from Tweedledee/Tweedledum to the Mock Turtle.

Picasso – light graffiti In 1949, LIFE photographer Gjon Mili visited Picasso in Vallauris, France. He showed Pablo some photographs of ice skaters with tiny lights affixed to their skates jumping in the dark. Picasso was immediately inspired, these photos were the result.
