7 Internet Marketing Metrics You Must Track (and how) | Internet Marketing Strategy: Conversation Marketing In internet marketing, that which is measured, improves. But it’s tough to know exactly what to measure, especially as your web site becomes just one part in a much larger campaign. And it’s even tougher to know how to measure. Here’s my ideal metrics, and how to collect them, in priority order: 1. So-so implementation: The simplest way to track conversions is over time. Good implementation: Again, if you don’t have reporting in place, you can still do something to separate conversions driven by your internet marketing strategy from those that are generated elsewhere. Best implementation: Set up a traffic reporting tool that includes conversion tracking. 2. So-so: Take the total amount spent over a day, week or month. Good: Break it down by product. Best: Use your analytics tool. 3. So-so: Measure unique visitors and page views per visitor. Good: Measure unique visitors, page views per visitor, and time on site. Best: Measure unique visitors, page views per visitor, and time on site.

Baby Quilt Patterns - Single Irish Chain Quilt - Make an Irish Chain Baby Quilt Baby Quilt Pattern It's easy to make a baby quilt by combining the Single Irish Chain block with pre-printed fabric panels. A four or six-inch finished quilt block is a good choice for baby quilts, and works with many of the square motifs that are printed on panels. Use the instructions on pages 1 and 2 to construct your blocks. Cut alternate blocks from pre-printed panels. Make rows by sewing your alternate blocks between Single Irish Chain blocks as shown above, alternating block types from row to row. Add straight borders or borders with corner squares to the quilt if you like, and then finish the quilt.

How To Set Boundaries With Your Clients, Part One: Agreeing On Scope | Freelance Folder | The Blog For Freelancers And Web-Workers Last week we talked about the importance of setting boundaries with your clients. If you aren’t clear on your availability, response time and process for adding “just one more thing” into an established project from the very beginning, then you’re leaving yourself wide open for your clients to walk all over you. Whether they do it intentionally or not, clients will add more and more onto your plate if you let them –- so you’ve got to take preemptive action to make sure that doesn’t happen. But if the thought of taking a hard line makes you cringe, rest easy – you don’t have to be a jerk to save yourself from becoming a doormat. How To Establish Project Scope When clients look for freelancers, they usually have a general goal in mind, such as getting a “blog theme,” or a “new logo,” or a “custom web application.” You never want to let this happen, so it’s up to you to set the scope. When you do a project of this type, what do you usually deliver?

Free Punch Cards I actually used these things back in the early days of computing. After they became obsolete I continued to use them as note cards and book marks. A few years ago I ran out, and looked around to see if I could find some more. Note: each card comes complete with CHAD! If you want some cards, all you have to do is send me a self-addressed stamped envelope. ACME Laboratories 1212 Kains Berkeley CA, 94706 Then add a single 1st-class stamp on the outer envelope and send it! As of late 2005 I am down to only a few hundred cards, so I have stopped giving them away. Frequently Asked Questions About The Free Punch Cards "Are you still giving away the punch cards?"

How To Launch A Niche Blogging Business » Internet Business Blog - by Yaro Starak I was listening to a fantastic call from Jeff Walker about email list building. Jeff’s the guy behind Product Launch Formula, the system I followed when launching Blog Mastermind and in my opinion a must have home study course for any person who is planning on releasing a product online (you can read my PLF review here). Jeff does bonus calls now and then for his paying clients and they are always great. Here’s how the formula works: Jeff uses the WordPress platform, like most good bloggers do, to run his blogs. You pick a niche topic and aim to produce one article per day. After a month or two you should have at least 100 visitors a day coming to your blog from organic search results (bear in mind that’s only if you stick to the one article per day formula), which is 10 opt-ins to your email newsletter per day. With an email list of 3,000+ you have the basis for product launches, or affiliate marketing, or a leverage tool for joint ventures or all kinds of things.
