Garlic and Kale Soup Recipe nutritional information Serves 6 This brothy soup provides heart-healthful nutrition on many levels: kale and garlic are good for the cardiovascular system; wheat berries are high in fiber; and shiitake mushrooms contain eritadenine, an amino acid that speeds up processing of cholesterol in the liver. Yogurt & Poppy Seed Slaw Bet you thought you’d never hear from me again, huh? It’s been six, seven weeks since my last recipe (sorry)…but the important thing is that I’m here now and I’ve got a great one for you! But before we get into that, I should probably tell you where the hell I’ve been. It’s been a hectic, hectic couple of months. dinner or dessert: chai snickerdoodles I don't drink much caffeine but the exceptions to that are always a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato or black tea. Chai tea is a mixture of spices and black tea and is one of my favorite teas so when I saw these cookies on The Novice Chef, I couldn't wait to try them. I've actually never made homemade snickerdoodles and I'm not sure how that is even possible considering snickerdoodles are always perfectly chewy! I'm considering putting cream of tartar in all of my cookies from now on because I swear that's what makes these the perfect texture. I had a store-bought chai tea mix from the grocery store (from the tea aisle) and rolled the cookies in that before baking. I took these to the Charlotte Food Blogger cookie swap last month and everyone seemed to love them, they even got a shout-out from Mary at Fervent Foodie.
Brown Butter Double Fudge Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cookies Little bit of a mouthful there. But it’s like a cookie on top of another cookie! Yeah. Like total dirty cookie on cookie action.
