Le jardin de Chanel J’ai eu la chance de pouvoir assister hier au défilé Chanel, en compagnie de Betty, Mathieu et Olivier. Un magnifique jardin avait été créé à l’intérieur du Grand palais. ♫ Sicilienne from “Pelleas et Melisande” – Gabriel Faure Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend the Chanel show, with Betty, Mathieu and Olivier. A magnificent garden was built inside the Grand Palais. Un jardin avec des fontaines bien entendu ! Oh ce petit sac jaune ! Il y avait beaucoup de plumes. Et voici la jolie invitation fleurie: And this was the lovely flowery invitation: A la suite du défilé, quelques photos. I couldn’t resist taking outfits photos after the show. Ma robe est une Marc by Marc Jacobs, et les chaussures sont des miu miu. My dress is Marc by Marc Jacobs and my heels are miu miu. Related posts :

C-Heads & Liquid :: Magazine for Photography, Illustration and Music (p)(f) Paco Rabanne Spring 2015 at Paris Fashion Week Photo: Yannis Vlamos/Indigitalimages.com All eyes on Paris: Could it be that there’s a new French wave arising after many a year of near-nothingness on the young designer front? Julien Dossena, the new designer at Paco Rabanne, is one name adding strength to the argument. Like Bouchra Jarrar (who is well on her way to establishing a serious reputation), he is ex-Balenciaga, which partly explains why this collection has sprinted off the starting blocks looking so accomplished. He did that with his well-cut, low-slung trousers, with a great series of hexagon-pattened knits, and by turning white shirts into highly desirable asymmetric tunics involving a half-elasticated drop waist, a buttoned-up collar, and a minimal flouncing in the hem. True, there was some Nicolas Ghesquière–era Balenciaga likeness going on (like complex cutout bodysuits), but Dossena’s tackling of the Paco Rabanne chain mail made the hardware seem convincingly light and pliable for the first time.
