This is so cool. Yes, I know I always say that. BUT SERIOUSLY, it’s amazing. And WHY HASN’T ANYONE EVER TOLD ME THIS?! You can BAKE eggs and they will come out exactly (if not better!) like normal hard-boiled eggs. Yes, I’ve read all those tutorials of “the perfect hard-boiled egg”. Why baking them is awesome: Stick them in the oven for 30 minutes. And that’s it! That photo has no purpose. NOTE: When you bake eggs, the shells will get little brown dots. After 30 minutes: Get a huge bowl of ice water. And check out these eggs. So go enjoy 30 minutes today while you’re baking some hard boiled eggs. After previewing my draft of this, Josiah said eggcellent. *edit.

8 Healthy Smoothies Made With 3 Ingredients Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole is the perfect breakfast for feeding a crowd. Hearty and so delicious! Can you believe Thanksgiving is just over a week away?! Usually my family and I kick the holiday off by watching the Macy’s parade with cold mimosas in one hand, and Mini Cinnamon Rolls in the other before getting into our annual showdown over playing Scrabble, followed by feasting on my Mom’s traditional Thanksgiving dinner later that afternoon. I am not mad at that! The men don’t last too long on cinnamon rolls alone though (and need something to soak up all those mimosas!) This year, however, we’ve got a more concrete game plan. This crock pot breakfast casserole is so good that my Mom has made it twice in the last month, first when my Grandma and Aunt were in town and again a couple weeks later for Evie’s baptism, then I made it for Ben and myself last Saturday morning to eat and reheat all weekend long. It is such a crowd pleaser, not to mention could not be simpler to make.

Take Complete Care of Your Cast Iron with This Video Guide Whipped Cashew Cream - The Family Dinner by Laurie David Like me, if you love whipped cream much more than you need it, you probably will be very happy with this recipe. It’s sweet and creamy, rich and fluffy, but without dairy, or added sugar. Made with fruit and nuts it quickly comes together with a whir of your blender. Whipped Cashew CreamYou Need:1 cup unsalted cashew nuts (you can also use almonds) 1 medium sized sweet apple, peeled and cored ¼ cup cold water (or apple juice) 1 teaspoon vanilla Pinch of saltTo Make:If you have the foresight, soak the cashews in water overnight.

Quinoa pudding Rice pudding with a generous dose of cinnamon on top has always been one of my favorite desserts. There’s really nothing like it for me. Growing up, my mom would say something like, “Guess what we have for dessert,” in this sort of secretive voice and then we’d get all giddy. I was craving the rice pudding of my youth the other day so I went over to the ever-inspiring, Cannelle et Vanille because I figured, with her Spanish (well, Basque) heritage she’d more then likely have a pretty authentic recipe. I absolutely love quinoa. The process was very similar to making rice pudding actually. The main difference being that you cook the quinoa in a combination of milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt instead of water. Just let the quinoa do its thing until it’s nice and soft. Strawberries are so in season right now so I definitely suggest chopping some fresh ones up to add on top, along with pistachios. You need: Directions HonestFare.com

Creamy Avocado Green Tea Popsicles This year will be my first summer in Texas. I’ve always heard it gets unbearably hot, but figured it couldn’t be that bad since so many people still live here! Well, its only mid May and the temperatures are already exceeding the hottest summer days in Ottawa. I’m starting to get a little nervous. When it gets this hot out, all I want to eat are frozen treats. Ice cream, popsicles, smoothies, even frozen fruit… you name it, I want it! My mind was blown when I finally discovered frozen banana ice cream. That’s when it hit me, avocados! I was unsure if it would react the same way as bananas, so I put half in a container in the freezer as an experiment and divided the rest between two glasses. I also didn’t have popsicle sticks so I hunted through the kitchen to find something equivalent. After everything froze, I took the popsicles and the container out of the freezer. The popsicles on the other hand were fantastic! Creamy Green Tea Avocado Popsicles Yield 4 popsicles Related posts:

Five amazing non-dietary uses for coconut oil (NaturalNews) Coconut oil, which is derived from the meat of matured coconuts, is possibly the healthiest oil in the world.
