When we talk about handwriting fonts, we're not just referring to one style of typography; they can come in a number of various executions. They are in the same area as cursive fonts but with even fewer constraints and often based off freeform illustrations. More recently, this style of typography has been making more appearances than ever before, with print and digital alike favouring it over more traditional offerings. Here, we plucked some top free fonts in a handwritten style for you to download and enjoy. 01.

Hi Greydie Hi Greydie, I thought I'd send you what I did today - 'see below' [hope the photos show - they're large.] Out of curiosity, I just begun enjoying this geometric stuff Applied mathematics Applied mathematics is a branch of mathematics that deals with mathematical methods that find use in science, engineering, business, computer science, and industry. Thus, "applied mathematics" is a mathematical science with specialized knowledge. The term "applied mathematics" also describes the professional specialty in which mathematicians work on practical problems by formulating and studying mathematical models. In the past, practical applications have motivated the development of mathematical theories, which then became the subject of study in pure mathematics where abstract concepts are studied for their own sake. The activity of applied mathematics is thus intimately connected with research in pure mathematics.

Blog Archive » The Fibonacci Spiral I don’t consider myself just a scrapbooker, photographer or designer. I consider myself an artist. It is not just cause I went to art school or that I like to create or that I appreciate art. Maybe it is all of these mixed together and maybe some other things mixed in there that I cannot explain. I see so many creative things around that inspire me.

Safavid Surfaces and Parametricism The development of specialized treatments of concrete and glass, customization through digital fabrication, and parametric design tools have brought about a contemporary resurgence of surface articulation, reopening the general issue of surface composition as a “legitimate” aspect of design, after almost a century of (near) omission by modernism. A wide variety of firms, among them Zaha Hadid (Patrik Schumacher), Herzog and de Meuron, Weil Arets, Aranda\Lasch and Foreign Office Architects, have been reintroducing this aspect of design -- most notably the last, which in addition to built work, Farshid Mousavi’s The Function of Ornament includes surface articulation as part of its theoretical explorations. The surface articulations to be discussed are: 1) the ceiling of the dome, and 2) the corner, where the square of the floor plan is reconciled with the circle of the base of the dome. The Ceiling

Welcome: User Experience Fundamentals for Web Design About this video Learn how to apply simple UX design principles to your site to make it behave in the way that users want and expect. Released A good user experience design will make visitors stay on your site. A bad one will make them go to someone else's. This class teaches you how to apply simple UX design principles to your site to make it behave in the way that users want and expect.

According to Felix Klein,[1] Synthetic geometry is that which studies figures as such, without recourse to formulas, whereas analytic geometry consistently makes use of such formulas as can be written down after the adoption of an appropriate system of coordinates.

250+ Killer Digital Libraries and Archives Hundreds of libraries and archives exist online, from university-supported sites to accredited online schools to individual efforts. Each one has something to offer to researchers, students, and teachers. This list contains over 250 libraries and archives that focus mainly on localized, regional, and U.S. history, but it also includes larger collections, eText and eBook repositories, and a short list of directories to help you continue your research efforts. death The sites listed here are mainly open access, which means that the digital formats are viewable and usable by the general public. So, such sites as the Connecticut Digital Library (iCONN) are not listed, as they operate on the premise that the user has a Connecticut library card in his or her possession. Efforts were made to go to the root source for these collections.

Fibre Composite Adaptive Systems Designed by Maria Mingallon, Sakthivel Ramaswamy, Konstantinos Karatzas Fibre composite adaptive systems is a research project which emulates self-organisation processes in nature by developing a fibre composite that can sense, actuate and hence efficiently adapt to changing environmental conditions. Fibre composites which are anisotropic and heterogeneous offer the possibility for local variations in their material properties. Embedded fibre optics would be used to sense multiple parameters and shape memory alloys integrated in a fibre composite material for actuation. The definition of the geometry, both locally and globally would complement the adaptive functions and hence the system would display ’Integrated Functionality’.
