Use Batch Files to Automate Application Installation Using the Start command in batch files for basic setup automation is an ideal way for small organizations to speed up the software deployment process and reduce the risk of accidental omissions. As I wrote in “Use Cmd.exe's Start Command to Simplify Setup Automation,” I've used it for years. However, using the Start command to run an application makes a batch file much more complex. Is it really necessary? Does the Start command really add necessary features for installing software? The primary reason I began using the Start command everywhere years ago was that most of the software that I installed was very finicky about the working directory it used for setups; Start let me specify that directory without needing to continually switch working directories as a distinct part of the batch file. None of the applications I installed automatically had problems. This means you can dramatically simplify running installers in most cases. \\Apps\dsp\7z458.exe \\Apps\dsp\AS 45.msi

Backlink Profiler This is the most comprehensive report I’ve ever found that digs deep into a site’s statistics and backlinks. Site Audits By pulling a Backlink Profile report, I am able to determine a site’s strengths and weaknesses, and figure out exactly what we need to improve a site’s rankings. In some cases for example, I will notice a site has an anchor density of over 30% for a money keyword, so I will recommend varied brand and fluff anchor text usage. TechnoBuffalo DeployStudio: Heavy-duty imaging software for OS X Macs are on the rise in businesses and educational institutions, and while IT managers might not like it, users are increasingly asking for more Mac support from their workplaces. Supporting Macs means coming up with ways to manage and configure them to run your programs and comply with your IT department’s best practices, and doing that quickly and effectively means finding ways to install pre-configured operating system images and approved applications on them. Software like Disk Utility or Mike Bombich’s Carbon Copy Cloner, which can copy the contents from one Mac’s hard drive to another’s, are fine for imaging individual Macs, but these tools typically don’t scale very well, and administrators will still need to perform some post-install configuration tasks manually—things like renaming computers and binding them to directories. The tools Apple builds into OS X Server are more useful for larger deployments, but they don’t make it all the way there. Setting up DeployStudio That's it!
