DIY: Sharpie Tie Dye

DIY: Sharpie Tie Dye
This is a great project for kids, or adults. I first saw the idea on the blog found here. All you need are some Sharpies, rubbing alcohol and something to drip it from (I had a syringe), and a t-shirt, or other clothing. I put a piece of cardboard in my tank top to prevent bleeding. Step 1: Use the Sharpies to make marks on your t-shirt. Step 2: Drip some drops of rubbing alcohol. Watch your design expand Step 3: Dry your t-shirt completely before washing. After I washed it the colors faded, but I still like the look: TIP: After drying the shirt with a hair dryer, allow it to set for 24 hours before washing.

Flashcards: The world's largest online library of printable flash cards Crown Hill 3 Unique Ways to Use Fresh Flowers I’ve shared a bunch of DIY ideas for fresh flowers over the last few months. But what about when those flowers start to wilt and die? Well, it turns out, that there are still a few cool things that you can do with flowers that are on their last leg, along with the ones that you accidentally cut to short for the vase, etc. And that’s what today’s projects are all about. Let’s jump in… 1. This idea screams summer to me for some reason. Using short-stemmed (or broken-stemmed) flowers that you would otherwise have to toss, try this…Grab a ring blank, which you can find in the jewelry section at any craft store, and a glue gun. 2. A mini creamer from Pigeon Toe Ceramics made for the perfect vessel for a few short stems that weren’t long enough for a regular vase. 3. You may remember this project from a few weeks ago. So that’s it. P.S. Concept, photography and styling by Brittni Mehlhoff.

The Grigori The Watchers The Lord spoke: "Have no fear, Enoch, good man and scribe of goodness. Come hear my voice. Go speak to the Watchers of Heaven, who have sent you to intercede for them. (1 Enoch) In the early days after the Fall, before the demons had escaped from Hell and before the War had begun in earnest, the Seraphim Council debated long and long about how best to safeguard humanity. Seemingly in answer, God created the Grigori, the Eight Choir. The Grigori were truly the most "human" of angels. The Grigori were also the only angels who really felt comfortable on Earth, and who didn't mind staying there. It made them very, very effective at their jobs. The "Second Fall" In 11,600 B.C., it came to the attention of Heaven that the Grigori had become entirely too human; they had taken wives, started families, and some were even succumbing to debauchery, immersing themselves in corporeal pleasures. The Grigori Today No one knows how many Grigori are still alive. Resonance Dissonance Blandine Eli

Naturally Clean I cleaned out my fridge. Don’t ask details or you might lose all respect for me. Husby’s so called “Stop! No! Don’t throw it away! I’ll eat it later!” Shower? Cube pure glycerin soap and microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until soap is completely melted. Puree fruit of choice, herbs, or zest from the flesh of citrus. Spray the inside of empty jello boxes, muffin tins, or any small glass/plastic container with vegetable spray. Allow soaps to harden for 2 hours.

Princess Leia and Imperial Trooper Moss by MossLoveTerrariums Chemtrail or Contrail: 50 Shades of Spray Image by David Dees at ddees.com It is a documented fact that technologies exist to modify the weather, and or disperse chemicals onto unknowing populations. They are called Environmental Modification Techniques or ENMOD technologies. The United States, at the height of the Vietnam war, engaged in Operation Popeye using a method called ‘cloud seeding’ to weaponize the weather. The United States military and others from around the world take this topic very seriously. Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen in 1997 stated, “weather weapons,” which can set off earthquakes, hurricanes, and more through electro-magnetic waves already exist, and are a threat to national security. Hundreds of different research organizations and scientists have proposed that spraying aerosols into the atmosphere via commercial and military aircraft can stave off global warming which is under more fire by skeptics. US Reported In Panic After Chemtrail Planes Forced Down In India, Nigeria Russian Military Analysts are reporting in the Kremlin today that US Military Forces are “panicked” over the forced landings ordered by Indian and Nigerian Air Forces of two Ukrainian AN-124 aircraft [photo top left] operated by the United States Air Force and based at their gigantic, but secretive, Diego Garcia air base located in the Indian Ocean. According to these reports, China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) notified both India and Nigerian intelligence officials about the presence of these US operated Ukrainian aircraft over their growing concerns of the United States spreading of “biological agents” throughout our Earth’s atmosphere, and which some Chinese officials are warning is an American-European attempt to conduct mass genocide via the spread of the H1N1 swine flu virus which has put the entire Global population at risk. And to those, like us, who continue to shout true warnings at them? [Ed. Translation to Spanish by: Sister Maru Barraza, Mazatlán, Mexico

Fun with Foam Printing - Easy Tutorial I loved this idea because not only can you recycle these horrid polystyrene containers, but the process is really simple. You could even use tracing paper and trace your design so you don't even need to be able to draw. You could make a whole series of cards like this or just a colorful print to hang on your wall and cheer up the place. Materials needed: Foam or polystyrene container pencil paint or ink small roller 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Happy printing! Original image courtesy of themetapicture
