Nutella Cookie Cups I really like Nutella. There is just something about- a chocolately spread that tries to make you feel like you are being healthy, but really you are just being indulgent… I mean, have you ever read what Nutella has to say about itself on its’ label before? “Hazelnut Spread with Skim Milk & Cocoa” “NO Artificial Colors” “NO Artificial Preservatives” “An example of a tasty yet balanced breakfast: a glass of skim milk, orange juice, and Nutella on whole wheat bread” And while all these things hold true and happen to be my rationalization for eating Nutella on a frequent basis, the fact of the matter still remains- the first ingredient listed is sugar. Look at all the melty, chocolately goodness in that cookie cup…. Of course if you don’t have Nutella, you can very easily substitute the filling with some sort of Hershey’s kiss, Rolo, or mini Reeses cup. And let me just assure you- if you can make cookie dough, you can make a cookie cup. OR you can use a muffin pan. Not to mention- DELICIOUS!
Hyper-Realistic Acrylic Body Painting When Suzanne Green pointed me to this gallery, at first I thought “Nothing special, must be Photoshopped“. But Alexa Meade is an artist who thinks completely backwards! Most artists use acrylic paints to create portraits of people on canvas, while Alexa applied acrylic paints on her subjects, and made them appear to be part of a painting! Meade is an installation artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her innovative use of paint on the three dimensional surfaces of found objects, live models, and architectural spaces has been incorporated into a series of installations that create a perceptual shift in how we experience and interpret spatial relationships. Chicken Jalfrezi Slow Cooker recipe I found this recipe to be very tasty and would suggest to kathjdyer who though it was 'blah' that it was the preparation rather than the ingredients that caused it to be bland. You can't just put everything in a slow cooker and expect good results. The way I cooked this recipe involved a number of stages of pre-cooking. I coated the chicken with plain flour and browned it in a large frying pan using ghee. The flour helps to brown the chicken and adds some thickening to the sauce.
