Sweetheart Ballet Tee Tutorial Here’s yet another way to spice up your t-shirts when you get a little bored with the plainness of them all. I did this a few weeks ago to two of my plain tees. I’m threatening to do this on all of the t-shirts I own. Seriously. Watch out! Little Boy Tie Tutorial Last week I learned how to make little boy ties and thought I'd share what I learned. They are so easy and so cute! Plus, it's one of the few crafts I can make for my little guy on the way. I hope my step by step tutorial helps you out. These are probably the size you'd want for a 1 1/2 - 2 year old. If you want to make them for an older child, just make the pattern longer. sewing 101: making a pouf Add a burst of color to your room with this crafty pouf! At 17” wide and 10” deep, it’s large enough to serve as floor seating or a foot stool. (And if you have pets, I have a feeling they may want to make this their new favorite spot!) This project is a little challenging to sew, but it’s not too difficult, so if you’re comfortable with the basics of sewing, give it a try. You can make a colorwheel effect with a range of solid colors, or choose a variety of patterned fabrics for a louder patchwork effect.

Old Mens T-shirt Sewn Into Women's Dolman Tee My husband and I are runners so we have a million t-shirts. I love transforming these boxy, oversized tees into something I will actually want to wear other then for a nightgown. I love this heather grey and wanted to make it into my favorite style tee. I love the comfortable, effortless style of the dolman tee... wanna make a dress?? i am PUMPED today! wanna know why? cause i’m gonna show you how to make quick, easy, and inexpensive dresses just like these! i know what y’all are thinking…no way that’s quick and easy. Baggy hubby sweater turned chic. This sweater was purchased a few years back for my hubby. Unfortunately he only wore it a few times before I accidentally tossed it in the dryer and shrunk it. Oooops!!! I liked the pattern and it was very warm so I kept the sweater for myself. However, since it was super baggy, I didn't wear it that often.

Re-purposing: Tshirts into 5-strand-braided-headbands I was walking through Target a few weeks ago and noticed this little knit fabric headband that was not just braided together…….but woven. I decided they were charging way too much for something that could be made with t-shirt scraps. And that means free. So there you have it. A nice and easy project to give my bad-hair-day head some love. how to add elbow patches to a sweater! Elbow patches are one of my favorite trends this season! Last month, I shared how to hand print hearts on your jeans and we recieved many requests for a patch tutorial! I asked Amanda to show you how she would do it in this next feature....

Darling Dexter - Darling Dexter - Party Skirt I have been glued to my sewing machine for the past two days working on this little party skirt. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome -- I embellished it a bit and added a pleated hem, just a cute plum twirl skirt :) Side Gathered Shirt - Tutorial - men's shirt refashion Do you remember this shirt??
