Metáforas de flujos lumínicos | Iluminet Iluminet agradece la colaboración de Pilar M. Soto Solier, investigadora de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Granada, España, quien comparte con nosotros un capítulo de su tesis doctoral titulada: Metáforas de flujos lumínicos redefinicion de la ciudad- instalación como escenario y laboratorio del arte contemporáneo, mismo que iremos publicando en diferentes fragmentos. A continuación la primera parte de este interesante documento académico: Se pretende revisar la construcción de espacios la redefinición del lugar en la ciudad, la función alegórica de esta, entendiéndola no como un paisaje geométrico sino tomando estas geometrías como parte constitutivas de estas obras. El entorno es entendido como lugar donde los individuos se relacionan con otros individuos, con un espacio o en un espacio, acentuando así el carácter que permite la aparición de los lugares en la línea planteada por Yi-Fu Tuan o en la de los no lugares, como diría Marc Augé. 1. 2. 3. Light Matters In mid autumn, when the nights get longer in the northern hemisphere, we encounter numerous light festivals. And indeed, within the last ten years, more and more light festivals have globally emerged. The reason for the success of light festivals is simple, as the German curator Bettina Pelz concludes: “It’s actually fairly easy, because whenever you do something with light in cities in the night, then people do come. If you do it good, they come twice.” As Pelz points out, light is an apt medium for evening events, since it easily attracts people.
