Pour souligner la maltraitance des poulets, NOAH Allemagne (organisation de la santé animale) a installé un distributeur automatique dans la rue avec 16 poules vivantes à l’intérieur. Au premier coup d’oeil les passants pensent qu’il s’agit d’une machine qui distribue des œufs frais, mais en s’approchant, ils ont été confronté au message de la campagne : « 68% des poules d’élevage dans le monde sont traitées comme des machines à pondre. Choisissez des oeufs issus d’élevages éthiques ». Les poules de cette installation ont ensuite été relâchées dans leur exploitation (éthique).
