Eloisa James ~ New York Times Bestselling Author XOXO - Offical Site Bestselling Fiction Books - Women Writers and African American Literature Eloisa's Books to Love » Reviews taken from books Eloisa James loves, and books she heartily recommend you should read. In honor of the publication of Paris in Love, we decided to pop up Eloisa’s review of a fabulous memoir about decadent experiences, some of which take place in Paris. Though Eloisa would like it noted that Gael Greene’s life is much more exciting than hers (Gael’s up close and personal time with Elvis is a good example!). I don’t read many celebrity kiss-and-tell biographies. Frankly, as someone who doesn’t watch much TV, I’m often in the dark about who the big celebrities are, and so why would I be interested in reading about their bed-time adventures? But when it comes to big names… For example, Elvis? OK! I thought I’d give you quite a few quotes because this is the kind of memoir in which the author really remembers what she’s writing about. This is really a book for people interested in food. But on the other hand, I like to cook. Gael Greene’s memoir is, in essential respects, something of a history of American’s attitude toward food. Yes. -Eloisa » Buy Insatiable by Gael Greene

And then there’s the Colonel who found Mo floating in the flooded debris after he crashed his car in the storm. The Colonel lost his memory in the crash and cannot remember his life before arriving in Tupelo Landing. Now Mo lives with the Colonel and Miss Lana and helps them run the best – and only – Cafe in Tupelo Landing, a town of 148 people. I loved this quirky book right from the start.

mark fashion & beauty New Books, Bestselling Fiction, Non Fiction Books - BOMC2.com Book Club What are the book blogs blogging about??? In an effort to spread some link love and, frankly, introduce some people to my book blog, I decided to zoom around the blogosphere and check out what the book blogs are blogging about! (How many times did I say book and/or blog in that sentence?) :) So here we go: --The Bronte Blog (which, by the way, is a wonderful one-stop shop for all things Bronte) lets us know that Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre have been featured recently in a comic strip! --Fleur Fisher is reviewing Lettice Delmer, by Susan Miles--which is, interestingly enough, an entire novel written in blank verse. --Books and Movies completely intrigues me with the news that an unknown Enid Blyton manuscript has been unearthed! --Besides hosting the Saturday Review of Books (which, unfortunately, I didn't make it into this week), Semicolon is reviewing Madeleine L'Engle's Certain Women. --Carpe Libris is reviewing Angel Sister, by Ann H. --Kristen Billerbeck's A Billion Reasons Why is the focus at WordVessel.
