The Art of Clean Up - Wall to Watch - StumbleUpon Photography Ursus Wehrli turned cleaning up into a form of art. It might be obsessive behaviour, but it looks neat. Invisible Children We are storytellers, activists and everyday people who use the power of media to inspire young people to help end the longest running armed conflict in Africa. We make documentaries, tour them around the world, and lobby our nation’s leaders to make ending this conflict a priority. But we don’t stop there. In the spring of 2003, three young filmmakers traveled to Africa in search of a story. They produced the documentary Invisible Children: Rough Cut in 2005. In 2006, Invisible Children, Inc., became an official 501(c)3 non-profit. We are storytellers. Half our work happens on the ground in Central Africa, and the other half happens in the United States. In Central Africa, all of our programming is a partnership between Invisible Children and LRA-affected communities. Our work in the United States focuses on advocacy and inspiring America’s youth to “do more than just watch.” Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Their current pop-up exhibition at the Science Museum in London (on view till 14th February 2012) features beautifully crafted electrical products that, at first blush, seem all too familiar—iProducts, LED displays, flat screen TVs—but there’s something wrong with them. They’ve become enlarged, deformed, bent out of shape, melted like Dalí’s clocks or broken by an unseen hand. These custom-made electronic products, created with live data and bespoke software, not only look like misshapen, skewed versions of the products we all know and love, many of them are interactive too, playing with ideas about technology and design, consumerism, capitalism, media control, and corporate social responsibility. wowPod

I adjust into a more comfortable position which elicits a deep growl from Buttercup. Although I was not here when it happened, I have had enough experience courtesy of the Capitol to see it well enough. As the thundering blasts rocket through my frame I watch from my window as a mute prisoner; a sole witness against this monstrosity. Peeta. Nothing. With a quick jolt it is all over. "You came."
