Home If I Die: Facebook App Lets You Leave Sweet Last Words Facebook profiles don't die the same way people do. If I Die is a Facebook app that makes sure, even if you die, your social self can still send out your last wishes and post messages to your friends years after you're gone. If I Die lets "you" post a final message to your wall and loved one when you're dead. After installing the app, you choose three "trustees" (Facebook friends) who are charged with verifying your death. Users can then record videos or craft any number of Facebook posts to be published posthumously. It might be a little morbid to start recording farewell messages, but Wilook, the Israel-based company behind the app, built the app because nobody really knows when death will come: "We all have things to say and don't necessarily have the audience with the patience to hear us," says Eran Alfonta, the app's co-founder and CEO. Alfonta got the idea when two of his married friends traveled to Italy without their children and narrowly escaped a fatal car crash with a truck.

Bettina Mercier - Artiste de plage Flower Mandalas by Kathy Klein I’m loving the vibrant colors and the meticulous placement of every leaf, flower petal, and pine cone is these natural mandalas by Arizona artist Kathy Klein. The pieces are called danmalas (‘the giver of garlands’ in Sanskrit), and after each is formed and photographed Klein leaves them where they were created as a gift to whoever discovers them. (via things organized neatly) 23 Incredible Works of Beach Art by Andres Amador Mar 25, 2012 San Francisco native Andres Amador is an artist that specializes in temporary land art on sandy beaches. Armed with several different sized rakes and his imagination, Andres typically spends a few hours on each piece. He first sketches the pattern before doing any work on the sand itself; maintaining perspective and the overall picture is a constant challenge. Andres shares all of his work on his website. He also has prints and postcards available for sale. Finally, there is a great interview available that he did with Sabado Magazine back in 2009 that delves further into his process and thoughts on his work. Sources
