Drawing Projects | FindHow.com Though Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) now dominates the vast majority of animated movies being made, there is still something very appealing about a hand drawn image. Drawing by hand takes a great degree of skill and technique. There are so many mediums that can be utilized when drawing by hand, yet many people are only familiar with pencil art. Another great medium for drawing is colored pencils. Fantastic Easy Hairstyle for the DIY Bride/Bridesmaid {Sunday Beauty School} I know I talked hair last week BUT I just have to share this with you! Being a straight and rather flat haired girl myself, I have tried every which way to bring a little bit of curl into my life with limited success. I’ve bought heated round brushes, velcro rollers, curling tongs in various shapes and sizes, those foam bendy things, rags (Victorian chic don’t you know) and heated rollers. But none have given me the curls I crave and most of them have damaged my hair. But, the other day, I was indulging in a little pinning on Pinterest. Here is a before and after shot of a girl who tried it out and was so pleased with the results she blogged about it. And click here for the original YouTube Tutorial by Maria from ‘The Lipstick Diaries’. I’m not sure I’d describe these curls as Vintage, they seem more boho to me but nevertheless I just love them & will no doubt be sporting them in the very near future! Enjoy: And here’s my results >> Apologies for looking so sleepy!

DIY Braided Bead Bracelet - Honestly WTF - StumbleUpon It’s been awhile since our last bracelet DIY. I don’t know about you, but our wrists have been begging for another colorful addition for months now. So after playing with some materials that were already on hand, we’ve created a tutorial for a braided bead bracelet, which is a not so distant cousin of the hex nut and wrap bracelet. Because honestly, you can never have too many . . . You’ll need: Cut the waxed linen cord into a 26″ and 19″ piece. Tie a knot about half an inch down from the loops. Start braiding the strands. Push the bead against the base of the braid, and cross the left strand over the middle. Keep a finger at the base of the braid, holding the beads in their place and keeping the braid tight. Finish the bracelet with another inch of braided cord, measuring it against the wrist. Thread on a two hole button – two strands through one hole and one strand through another. Trim the end. Your bracelet is finished! (all images by HonestlyWTF)

Simple 3 Twists Hairstyle First, a little back story: I was on Pinterest (I know, big surprise) awhile back and Ms. Ez from Creature Comforts pinned a fun messy hair-do, and mentioned she needed to learn how to do it. So I piped in that I should show her how. So here it is, my first hair tutorial, wahoo! It is best to start with 1-2 (even 3) day old hair that has a little wave to it. Next you will want a little lift through the roots. So now we have the hair looking a little fuller, and the front styled the way we want it to look in the end. Split your hair into three sections, pulling the sides in front of your shoulders, leaving just one section in the back. Lift the back section up and backcomb at the base. Take the section and twist once like shown. Next take the second section and hold it out to the side like shown. Twist the section once loosely right next to the first twist, like shown in the picture. Now spray the heck out of it! **EDIT you can find the How To Backcomb Your Hair Post here ~Destri
