A Cathedral Made from 55,000 LED Lights The Luminarie De Cagna is an imposing cathedral-like structure that was recently on display at the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium. The festival was host to almost 30 exhibitions including plenty of 3D projection mapping, fields of luminous flowers, and a glowing phone booth aquarium, however with 55,000 LEDs and towering 28 meters high the Luminarie De Cagna seems to have stolen the show. Sweet Home 3D Walk through "Your Rainbow Panorama" in Denmark - StumbleUpon EmailEmail Now reaching the rainbow became possible with the new installation named “Your rainbow panorama” of the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. The new project was opened on the 28th of May 2011 on the top of the ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum in Århus, Denmark. The glass forming the rainbow has all the colors of the spectrum giving visitors a different feeling to their familiar city, bringing brightness to the regular landscape, reminding us of some childhood dreams of walking through the rainbow. Olafur Eliasson describes his design concept: “Your rainbow panorama enters into a dialogue with the existing architecture and reinforces what is assured beforehand, that is to say the view of the city. The Astounding Design Of Eixample, Barcelona | All That Is Interesting - StumbleUpon Constructed in the early 20th century, Eixample is a district of the Spanish city of Barcelona known for the urban planning that divided the district into octagonal blocks.
