Would you like to make your own cool musical poster? This Photoshop tutorial will teach you how to do it. Final Image Preview Resources Girl Step 1 First we are going to create a new document in Photoshop with 1000×1000 pixels with all the default settings. Step 2 Select Horizontal Type Tool and place any text (white color, caps on) filling all background as you can see below. Rotate text 45 degrees CW by going to Edit > Transform > Rotate. Step 3 Open photo and copy it to our canvas over text layer. Select text from text layer (Ctrl+left click on text layer thumbnail in layers). Press Ctrl+D to deactivate selection. Apply Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast. Step 4 Create a new layer. Rotate text 45 degrees CW by going to Edit > Transform > Rotate on both layers. This tutorial will show how to use bevel effect and lens blur to create a depth to your artwork. Preview of Final Image Create an A4 size document with 300dpi resolution. Right-click on the text layer and choose Blending Options. Click on Gradient Overlay and enter the settings as shown below. Download any texture from the Krakograff package. Set the texture layer back to 100% Opacity. Create a new layer above the texture layer and rename it as Glowing Edge. After you are done with all the bevel edges, right-click on the layer and choose Blending Options. Right-click on the text layer and choose Blending Options. Create a new layer below the text layer and rename it as Light Burst. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Dissolve. Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Create a new layer above the texture layer. Go to Filter > Blur > Lens Blur.
