The siege tank is a staple in several build strats because it can be used for area denial and to keep your bases safe from approaching ground attackers, but it also can be used as an offensive weapon that can rain down hot death on your enemies if you get them close to their bases. Now, an intrepid fan has built one entirely from Lego bricks. It’s small, but it’s remote controlled, and can switch modes at the touch of a button. YouTube user petzoldhaus – better known as Marky Mark’s Lego Creations – assembled this beautiful, working siege tank and put the video up at YouTube and at Team Liquid for the Starcraft-loving world to enjoy. The tank has four separate motors and two actuators. via YouTube and Team Liquid
Kerala, India By Paulson Pulikottil During 1920s in the Southern State of India called Kerala, Pentecostalism from the West had the opportunity to meet the home grown brand of Pentecostalism. This encounter has some significant lessons for Pentecostal churches and missions agencies, particularly in their relationship with native churches and organisations. This case study of the encounter between western Pentecostalism and the indigenous Pentecostalism also illustrate the use of insights from postcolonial theory and historiography. Postcolonialism A postcolonial approach to historiography is different from traditional approaches in its content and as well as its perspective. A postcolonial approach to history is also different in its perspectives. Another important dimension is that it provides categories to understand relationships between dominant groups and the subalterns, those who have placed themselves at the centre of history and those who are pushed to the periphery. Hardware and software for preschoolers have been around for years, of course, but do you really want to wait that long before they become computer-savvy? To give them a running--or crawling--start, there's always Discovery's "Baby Laptop" as seen on Random Good Stuff. The Baby Laptop helps teach numbers, colors, shapes and the alphabet, at least in concept, in six learning activities. And for those stragglers, it can just be used to improve motor skills and hand-eye coordination. But don't worry, you can still give your progeny time to be a kid before they have to knuckle down: The Baby Laptop isn't recommended until they're at least 1 year old. (Thanks, Juergen)
