Texte intégral. «Nous cineastes...» Chers spectateurs de films, la brochure que vous allez lire n'a pas d'auteur ou plutôt elle en a une multitude: des cinéastes qui ont apporté chacun des réflexions, des souvenirs, des bouffées de colère, des indignations désordonnées ou des discours structurés. Retraçons clairement la chronologie des faits: Le 13 octobre 1999, Patrice Leconte adressait aux membres de l'ARP (une association de réalisateurs dont il est membre) la lettre suivante [reproduite ci-contre]. Le bogue de l'an 2000 ne sera rien à côté de celui qui, déréglant le mailing de l'ARP, a envoyé cette missive (et la convocation qui l'accompagnait à une réunion de discussion le 4 novembre), non pas aux seuls membres de l'ARP, mais à une foultitude d'adresses.
