Book Page Corner Heart Origami Bookmark

Book Page Corner Heart Origami Bookmark
This is another heart tutorial. Is the 'book page' trend over yet? I sure hope not, because I just love the look of this corner bookmark folded from a book page. The great thing about origami is that it is cheap and anyone can do it - with the proper instructions. When I was a kid, my parents bought me an origami book (from Thailand, all in Thai!). I was so excited to get it until I started to attempt to make the figures. I still see origami instructions out there that completely confuse me. I used a book page for this but origami paper would make awesome book marks also.

Rick Rack Scarf I recently unearthed the first project I ever knit, a moth-eaten stockinette scarf. I made it over twenty years ago while I was spending a school year in rural France. My French "mother" was the town librarian and an amazing knitter. She opened her stash basket to me and walked me through every step of that crazy scarf.

DIY Sharpie Mug - Does It Really Work? So, I'm sure you've seen the Sharpie mugs all over Pinterest in the last couple of months. They claim, "all you need is a marker, a dollar store mug, and an oven," but...the results seem to be varied. Some say it worked awesome, others say it was a total fail. So which is it? Is it worth the effort to attempt this project, or will it be a total waste of time? I'm here to say that yes, it does work, BUT....maybe not quite as simplified as some claim. Craft: Valentine's Day Wall Art I loved how my Valentine's Day garland and wreath looked so I decided to make another Valentine's Day decoration. In our living room we have a big blank wall that is patiently waiting for us to finish the wall art we plan on hanging. I decided to use that space and try to make a simple, cheap wall art. Supplies: Card stock, pattern to print (I did sheet music), scissors, tapeCost: $0 (I already had all of the supplies) Tutorial: How to sew on bias binding Over the years I have posted many bias related posts (see the collection below), but it's just occurred to me that I never shown you how to sew on bias. Many of you have problems catching the back when sewing bias on so I'll show you a trick so that it catches every time. I will do a series of posts showing you how to sew on bias, do corners and finish bias.Edited : Other posts in this series included : how to add bias to curves & mitred corners Today we start with sewing bias on.
