Vous et la RATP (fermé) A small idea that could have a big impact. « ALL THAT IS GOOD Everyone is always striving for The Big Idea; Personally, I believe in the power and impact of small ideas. I had a small idea about 6 months ago: rather than paying celebrities loads of money to record their voice navigation into Ovi Maps, we should take some of that money and develop a little mobile app that allows people to record their own voice navigation, and share these voice packs with other people. I got the guys at Starcut to make the little app, and asked them to keep it really simple. The team at Ovi Maps made sure it worked at their end, and the campaign team integrated it into their major Ovi Maps campaign which gave it a huge boost in terms of visibility. It ended up being called Own Voice, and I’m really proud to say that it was released last week, and the initial response has been extremely good. It really is a tiny, simple idea. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. In summary: it’s not the size of the idea that counts, it’s what you can do with it. Like this: Like Loading...

Now, in the face of otherwise devastating news, we have some good news to share courtesy of AT&T. Ma Bell is offering wired and wireless billing relief for calls made on AT&T between March 11th and March 31st. Under the plan, AT&T wireless postpaid customers will not be charged for international long distance or text messages to Japan from the US and Puerto Rico. Update: Sprint and Verizon have both now elected to waive call and text message fees (in Verizon's case, the move applies both to landline and wireless numbers). Update 2: Dish Networks is also getting in on helping people stay up to date. Update 3: Comcast is also in the game, providing free calls for Xfinity Voice and Business Class Voice customers. Update 4: And that ain't all! Update 5: Kelly let us know that Verizon has added Japan TV for free for FIOS subscribers too.

Solutions have come in the form of independent companies setting up camps and charging fesitval-goers to power their smartphones so that they could remain contactable and use them to snap photos of their favourite bands. However, one truck looks set to change all that. The Vodafone VIP recharging truck is heading to 11 festivals this year, offering Vodafone customers with the opportunity to charge their mobile devices, completely free of charge. If you’rea Vodafone customer at a festival and you own an Android, iPhone, BlackBerry or Nokia device, this is what you need to look out for.

Les red equal signs par la communauté (Diaporama sur Huffpost) It seemed like most people were changing their Facebook profile pictures to the Human Rights Campaign's symbol for equality -- that red equal sign -- this week as the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in two cases concerning same-sex marriage. Turns out, it didn't just seem like most people were doing it -- hard data backs up what you saw in your Facebook feed. 2.7 million more people changed their profile pictures on Tuesday, March 26 compared to the previous Tuesday, a trove of charts published by Facebook on Friday reveal. A look at how many people changed their profile pictures throughout the week. Across the country, Facebook users changed their profile pictures. This map shows where people who changed their profile pictures are located. The well-known geographic divides are apparently: same-sex marriage gets more support in the more liberal Northeast and West, less in the South. Earlier on HuffPost:

#44 – Kodak – Scenic Spots Who? The late successful camera company, Kodak. What’s the utility? Brand utility sometimes does not need big budgets and advanced technology. It can be as simple as a road sign. That’s what Kodak understood when it elegantly installed signs telling Disneyworld visitors the spot was great for a family picture. And as our source, the advertising lab, accurately says, it could now be a fully integrated feature of the camera, and this brand utility would become a standard in the camera market, as it is now for pizza delivery.
