Galalit – Almanach Galalit (ang. Galalith lub Erinoid, znany również jako sztuczny róg, kazeinit) jest najstarszym znanym tworzywem sztucznym. Jego nazwa wywodzi sie z Greckich słow gála (mleko) i lithos (kamień). Otrzymywany z kazeiny, która zostaje poddana procesowi homogenizacji i zahartowane w formalinie. Galalit należy do duroplastów chemoutwardzalnych i stanowi zmodyfikowany polimer naturalny.
