Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip

Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip
The Super Bowl is quickly approaching and that means that it is time to start dusting off some recipes for snacking! I am a big fan of hot melted cheese dips and I had an idea for a new one, a bacon double cheese burger dip that has all of the flavours of a bacon double cheese burger. Beef is the main part of a burger so I started out there and I added some ingredients that I commonly add to burgers including onions, garlic and worcestershire sauce. Next up was the bacon and then the cheese and I included both cheddar for the flavour and mozzarella for the stringy melted goodness. I went with the standard hot melted cheese dip ingredients including the cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream to form the base of the dip. If you cannot live without lettuce and tomatoes in your burgers then topping the hot bacon double cheese burger dip with freshly diced juicy tomatoes and sliced crisp lettuce is the way to go and I highly recommend that you try it! Start the Mini Corn Dog Muffins by making the cornbread batter. And bake.

Sausage Biscuit Bites - Football Friday It's tailgating time again! We are making these Sausage Biscuits Bites for the game this weekend. We've made these several times; they are SO good! You can roll the sausage and cheese into balls ahead of time and assemble the biscuit bites when you are ready to bake them. I was worried that these biscuit bites would be greasy, but they weren't. I used Tennessee Pride sausage and Pillsbury Grands Jr biscuits - that might make a difference. Sausage Biscuit Bites(Printable Recipe) 2 (10 count) cans flaky biscuits (Grands Jr) 1 lb sausage (Tennessee Pride) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 400. Mix uncooked sausage and cheese gently until well blended. Remove biscuits from cans and separate each biscuit into two layers, making 40 total biscuit layers. Place sausage-cheese ball in each biscuit cup.

Buffalo Chicken Dip Welcome to Unsophisticook! I'm always cooking up something new, so be sure to subscribe to the blog to receive FREE updates sent right to your inbox. It's that time of year: the kids are back in school, the days are alternating between blazingly hot and downright cool... and football is back on TV! I'm not really in to pro football, but I could watch college football all day long -- and that's typically exactly what we do on Saturdays during the fall. Our whole family looks forward to our Saturday game day get togethers with friends all week, and we have a number of recipes that we like to rotate through for snacks while we're cheering on the Buckeyes. I started with the buffalo chicken dip recipe from Frank's RedHot and tweaked it to make it more like the buffalo dip that we often order as an appetizer at our favorite local bar and grill. Ingredients: Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Copyright Unsophisticook 2010-13.

Jenna's Journey: Chicken Roll Ups I have a great, easy and delicious new recipe to share with you! One of my favorite things to do in my limited free time is to search food blogs and food websites. I kept seeing recipes similar to the one I'm going to share but I didn't like half of the ingredients, and the ones I did like, Chris didn't. First, I boiled 2 chicken breasts. Meanwhile, I let a block of cream cheese thaw out. I mixed the cream cheese with 1 1/2 cups of cheddar and 1 cup of Monterey jack and some salt and pepper. Once the chicken was cooked, Chris shredded it for me with his hands of steel, and we mixed it into the cheese mixture. Then I put the mixture on big, buttery, flakey crescent rolls. And rolled them up. Finally, bake them at 350 for 20-25 minutes! 1 pkg cream cheese (8oz)1 pkg crescent rolls (6 ct) (note, you can also use TWO packages of regular sized crescents)2 shredded, cooked chicken breasts1.5 C grated chedder cheese 1 C grated Monterey Jack1/4 t salt1/4 t pepperbread crumbs1/4 stick melted butter

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love dips. Whether creamy, spicy, hot or cold, you will generally find me standing directly in front of them with chip in hand ready to scoop up all of the goodness. This love of dips means that I could not possibly let Super Bowl week pass without sharing a dip recipe with you. So I present to you this Bacon Cheese dip with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onions. I must warn you: this dip is thick.

Roasted Cauliflower and Aged White Cheddar Dip I have really been into cauliflower lately and in particular I have been enjoying a lot of bowls of the roasted cauliflower and aged white cheddar soup which have been keeping me warm on these cold winter days. With the big game coming up I have had snacks on my mind a lot and one of my favourite snacks for for any kind of party has to be hot melted cheese dips like the spinach and artichoke dip. The other day while I was enjoying a bowl of the roasted cauliflower and aged white cheddar soup I was thinking about dips and I had a crazy idea, why not combine the two ideas and make a hot melted cheesy cauliflower dip? Serve with garlic rubbed crostini, crackers or veggies for your dipping pleasure. You can't go wrong with a hot melted cheese dip for any party! While I was writing the recipe for the roasted cauliflower and aged white cheddar dip I thought of several other add ins for the dip including things like roasted mushrooms or bacon and caramelized onions. Does this look good?

Steak fingers with jalapeno cream gravy “You’re not a fan of ‘Friday Night Lights? I can’t believe it!’” said a Texan friend to me, shaking her head. Then there was my native New Yorker friend who said, “‘Friday Night Lights’ has made me fall in love with Texas. Tell me again why you don’t watch it?” Finally, my dad threw his hat into the discussion. It soon became clear to me that by not watching “Friday Night Lights,” I’d been missing out on something important. Now, I’m only halfway into the first season but this show set in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas has the power of making me laugh, cheer and cry—sometimes all at the same time. Take the Alamo Freeze—the ice cream and hamburger place on the show that is a fictional stand-in for a Dairy Queen. Now, when you go to a Dairy Queen you may order an ice-cream cone dipped in crackling, crisp chocolate, a thick Blizzard milkshake chock full of goodies or a cheeseburger, both juicy and fat. Eleanor gave me a funny look. Steak fingers as home cooking?

Buffalo Chicken Dip This Buffalo Chicken Dip? Pure man-bait. Walk into a room with it, and guys will look at you like you just took your top off. It’s just the thing to take to a Super Bowl party. But I’ve seen ladies who wouldn’t touch a Buffalo wing attack this stuff like starving lions chasing an antelope on Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. I totally understand. I’m not a big fan of Buffalo wings – something about that mountain of wittle bones gives me the cweeps – but this dip is different. Damn, it’s good. I always tell myself I’m just going to taste it before a party, but one chip turns into three and then a handful. It’s warm. Just shred a couple of cooked chicken breasts, and mix them with melted cream cheese, blue cheese dressing and Frank’s hot sauce. You can make it with low-fat ingredients. And you can eat it without having to stare at a plate of wittle bones.

Restaurant Style Orange Chicken Alright you guys, seriously, this orange chicken tastes exactly like the best orange chicken you’ve ever had at any restaurant. I was very, very, very skeptical at first because I’ve never fried meat before and I was afraid it would turn out terribly. Kramer was adamant about having me make orange chicken that would remind me him Chinese take-out, though, and I couldn’t let him down! I honestly can’t emphasize how good this orange chicken is. Your ingredients. Mix together the chicken, egg, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of canola or vegetable oil, then add in 1/2 cup of cornstarch and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Heat enough vegetable or canola oil in a pot or a wok (about an inch deep in the pot) for about 5 minutes over high heat. Turn the heat to medium-high and fry the chicken in small batches so it cooks evenly. Remove the chicken from the oil with a slotted spoon and allow to drain on a paper towel until ready to use. In one more bowl, zest your orange. Restaurant Style Orange Chicken
